I left a review after my initial appointment. That appointment was October 2020. She was on time. Dr. Weiss gave me a fast once over. I was out of her office less than 15 minutes. I wasn't happy and went back to see another doctor at that practice. The other doctor was very thorough. She did a graft for a biopsy, sent it out, and it came back as something that should be removed because it could eventually turn into skin cancer. So this is preventive. I am so glad that I called and went back to the office and was checked again. My first visit with Dr, Weiss was fine but this last time was not thorough or good. Thank goodness I saw another person there and am taking care of this. When I questioned, the other doctor said they were more thorough, Just that tells you something. Please be careful no matter who you use as your dermotologist. Signs were there for me to get checked out once again.

After waiting 45 minutes to see Dr. Weiss, I was very disappointed with the actual visit. She was very curt, performed a procedure without even providing any information about what to expect, provided minimal answers to questions and seemed very rushed to get on with the next patient. She left without asking if I had any questions, it was as if I used the up the allotted time for my visit and that was it. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I had a rash that moved around my face. After waiting a month to see Dr. Weiss, she told me it was adult acne. I explained that I have never had anything like it before, it moved and it was itchy. She told me it wasn't that bad and I should "deal with it." What a ridiculously unsatisfactory answer. It turns out I have lupus. If she had paid me more concern, perhaps she could have made a real diagnosis. She is clearly more interested in making money than helping people. Bad form.

Dr. Weiss was one of the most empathetic and thorough doctors I have seen in a long time. She gave me a full skin exam, answered all of my questions, and reassured me regarding my concerns. She accurately diagnosed a problem and gave me a cream which made it go away. My only complaint is that I did have to wait for 25 minutes in the waiting room for her, but once I was with her, she gave me all of the time I needed. Now, I am sending all of my friends and family to her.

Awful. She was recommended several years ago by a doctor who I greatly respect, but I never made an appointment until recently. Dr. Weiss proceeded to dismiss my concerns, and then point to an area of concern on my back but said, "you must have had a mole removed there" -- I told her that I've never had any moles removed. She said that I must be forgetting it, because it's obvious there had been a mole there. I can't stand injections and I would have remembered getting a mole removed because of the required lidocaine injection. I even asked my mother (who had been in the waiting room) if I'd had anything removed and she said no. I told Dr. Weiss this and she said, "if you say so" and then wouldn't explain to me why she was concerned about the area. I have an appointment with a new dermatologist next month. Oh- and the referring doctor- apologized profusely and says she stopped referring to Dr. Weiss because she got so many complaints!

The doctor came highly recommended. Not having an assistant in the room was appreciated. Dr. Weiss hardly spoke. Scalp was not looked at.

It took me over a month to get an appointment with Dr. Weiss. Then I had to wait over an hour in the waiting room before even being brought back to an exam room. Dr. Weiss was dismissive when I asked for a more indepth explanation of my basal cell carcinoma. She seemed to be in a hurry to finish her day.
