Run like your hair is on fire. This clown is an arrogant quack. My wife went to him to examine lump in her breast and he kept playing with her nipples. I went to him while my Dr. Was on extended vacation. I had just had lab test and by objective test, had 20X the allowable level of mercury in me from unknown source. When I told him about it he leaned in closer and said "I can tell you what's wrong with you. YOURE NUTS!" (Shouted). I was done with that piece of fecal matter at that point.

I went to this doctor complaining of headaches and lower back pain and he told me I was depressed because my husband was in iraq. I took the antidepressants, and talked to a therapist. Everything he told me to do. And it was not getting better. When I voiced my concerns I requested a second opinion by another doctor. I got a catscan that showed I have poly cystic ovarian syndrom. Now I am at dr Zweig and receiving hormone therapy that helps sooo much. But as for DR Hay.. he told me it was all in my head and I was always going to be in pain and there is nothing I can do about it. One day he will say this to the wrong person and they will feel the only way out of pain is to kill themselves. This isn't how it has to be there are better doctord out there willing to really help you. Not tellyou its in your head

Dr Hay is a very good doctor and very knowledgeable. If he doesn't have an answer to the medical issue at hand he will look it up. He also will be the first one to refer the patient to a specialist if he feels uncomfortable with the medical problem. That is a sign of a good doctor who cares about his patients.

This doctor's solution for everything is that you are depressed and prescribes anti-depressants. After years of telling my father that "it was all in his head", my dad passed away from harding of the blood vessles in his brain. Guess he was right, it WAS all in his head!

Worst doctor I have been under the care of. He always is quick to think that you are going to question his divine knowledge. I was seen by him for a cough that wouldn't go away and his solution for my problem was, " When you feel like you are going to cough, just don't " Luckily I was seen by another doctor and correctly diagnosed.
