Dr. Kalter is a wonderful doctor. He's knowledgeable and kind. Only problem is that office staff took weeks to get back to me, knowing that I'm fighting breast cancer for the fourth time and I was waiting for him to contact my surgeon. Office staff is also knowledgeable, if only they were prompt.

Dr. Kalter treated my brother for his cancer, and all I can say is Thank God for him! He is so knowledgeable and he will not give up! If I am ever struck with this horrible disease, he would be my pick for my Oncologist. Thank you, Dr. Kalter! Blessings!

Best oncologist anywhere. He is the standard by which all physicians should guide their practice. Sometimes, it is a long wait. But when it was our turn to hear the word "cancer", he did not drop the news and leave to see his next patient. He sat with us, answered every question honestly and told us what would happen and why. So, it's okay to wait because I know he is taking his time with each patient as he see's necessary. Amazing and brilliant man.

As far as I am concerned Steve Kalter is the gold standard for oncologists. Have been a patient -- and a survivor -- for more than 15 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and also very compassionate and friendly. I have the highest degree of confidence in him.

I had colon cancer for 3 years, and Dr. Kalter was wonderful! He is very understanding and although the wait is sometimes long, it is because he will not turn down patients, and will spend as much time as you need. If you have cancer, you can depend on Dr. Kalter to be an expert oncologist for you.

We were referred to Dr. Kalter based on previous testing. Dr. Kalter's manner, professionalism and knowledge helped us during a very difficult, emotional time. He didn't barrage us with a lot of unnecessary testing, but immediately got to the root of the issue. When he felt a colleague's knowledge would benefit the situation, he consulted with our doctor and us and IMMEDIATELY got us in to see the other top specialist within hours!...AND didn't hand us off to the other doctor, he stayed involved and made sure we knew he still right there! He isn't arrogant, but he's not timid either. He is the kind of doctor you consider yourself blessed to have in your corner.

This is the most kind, generous, knowledgable doctor I know. The kind of doctor you want in your corner when you are facing an illness like cancer. He took care of me for 2 years, and I survived. I would recommend anyone to him! Any wait for appt. or in waiting room is well worth it!
