i just found out that Dr. McHeffey no longer accepts any insurance. Now i have to find a new primary care doc... its really a shame

I switched to Dr. McHeffey because my doctor wouuldn't join my networked insurance plan for teachers. The new Horizon 10 for teachers which she belonged to. It has been almost a year and now she said she no longer wants to belong to that plan. I don't know if its her or the plan but I will be looking for a new doctor again.

Dr. McHeffey has chanaged her staff and made some changes in spending more time and returning phone calls. She knows how to spot bad employees and cleaned house. She is great! Saved my life and donated money to chemo patient. She really cares and loves her patients!

No doctor has ever spent so much time as Dr. McHeffey did with me. She was so thorough and asked so many questions that I feel she really knows my medical history, and ordered tests that actually matter to me.
