Never again,this office has a most careless and unprofessional staff ever

Been using Dr. DeVito for 12 years NEVER had a problem with him or the staff. Dr. DeVito tells it like it is and always right on the money with a diagnosis. He's awesome !!

AVOID THIS PRACTICE!! The office manager Andrea threatened to call child services on me because I work full time and couldn't bring my son in for an appt till that Saturday. i called simply to get a reference for a therapist and Andrea insisted that I bring him in that day to be seen. I said I'm at work and cant leave and i simply need a referral-she said she would be calling child services. Then it gets even more bizarre. I get a call from Dr Mahale,one of the doctors in the practice explaining that there was a miscomunication and of course child services wouldn't be called. Well, they did call because child services came to my house later that night. The investigation, which was very brief due to no evidence, determined that there were NO GROUNDS FOR ABUSE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE. The office workers and doctors are obviously unprofessional and dangerous. What is worse is that they took time away from the case worker and perhaps she could have been investigating a REAL CASE of abuse instead of a made up one. The next time you read about a child dying in Brooklyn due to neglect, think of this practice and how they prevented a case worker from working a real case.

The whole practice sucks. Revolving door pediatricians who forgot why they went to medical school in the first place. ONLY good for well child visits, strep throat, ear infections, for out of the ordinary stuff they are no good. Maybe one of them is a class act diagnostician but she works in Staten Island. Bay Ridge office service is deplorable.

Dr.Devito is a wonderful physician. His staff however have emotional issues. Many times I have witnessed them venting their personal problems.

I'VE BEEN GOING TO DR.DEVITO FOR 6 YRS. I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIM OR HIS STAFF. DR. DEVITO IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND IS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP AND GIVE SUGGESTIONS. HIS STAFF IS GREAT ESPECIALLY, THE RECEPTIONISTS ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP YOU IN ANY WAY. TO ONE ITALIAN TO ANOTHER BRAVO DR. DEVITO IN WANT YOU DO AND CONTINUE DOING IT WELL YOU AND YOUR STAFF.

Dr. DeVito is a fine doctor. All you parents who claim he is rude are all idiots. He is straight foward and gives you good advice with all concerns. He is not there to be your friend to have a drink with, he is there to be knowledgeable and accurate on his diagnosis. His staff is professional and his hours are wonderful.

Dr. DeVito is an extremely intelligent pediatrician. But unfortunately, he is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He could be patient, thorough, caring and gentle for one visit and rude, unpleasant and obnoxious the next. I didn't know who I was going to get each time I called or when I took my daughter in to see him. He is definitely a poor choice for a pediatrician, especially if you’re a first time mom. Roughly, 2 years ago, just as I was about to leave their office, the practice hired an associate doctor, Dr. Gina Allegretti; she was the perfect pediatrician. and we all loved her. She just left their practice and so have I. Their other associates are horrible. Dr. Alvarado is the only doctor I would see but unfortunately, she is only in the Brooklyn office on Tuesdays and Thursday. Staff is just as moody and Dr. DeVito.

Dr.Devito is a wonderful doctor. My two children are patients of his. He is informative,compassionate, and caring.His staff is extremely professional and helpful.This is a wonderful practice.

I have very mixed feelings about Dr. Devito and his office. Dr. Devito was very helpful to me. When I called him on the phone, he spoke to me very nicely. He called to make sure everything was okay, even when I didn't call him. However, my daughter had problems that were overlooked by him and his office and his staff was not helpful at all. I hated leaving him, but I feel he's good as long as your child has no real issues.
