This is an update to the comment left about numbness in hands and feet. Took a while to get the nerve to find another doctor who might tell me the same thing but finally did so. The diagnosis? A spinal cord injury in my neck i did not know about, 2 herniated disks in neck pressing on the spinal canal causing a blockage. Had surgery but because of the time it took there is no guarantee the numbness will ever go away now. I had the disks removed, no change in numbness. I was told that if i had fallen or jerked my neck out there was a very good possibility i could of been paralyzed from the neck down so the surgery was a very good thing! From the time of the diagnosis to surgery...3 weeks,he wanted to get it done soon as possible. The weakness in my legs, feeling like rubber seems to be gone as a one point i couldn't even get in my truck cause i had no strength in my legs. I would never recommend him as I could be in a wheelchair rt now not typing a followup review.

Dr. Schoen was very rude to me. He threatened to withhold my medication unless I got tests that had nothing to do with what I was taking the medication for. He was rude to me and never checked tests to make sure I was on the proper meds. When I went to another doctor and got checked I found out that the meds he gave me could have done some real damage. I would not at all suggest anyone going to this doctor. He just doesn't care about his patients.

Doessn't seem to pay attention to me. I tell him numbness in 3 fingers on right side, underside of arm all the way down to my foot, both feet and sometimes right hand now. That if i put chin on chest i can feel it all way down and if cough or sudden movement it like zaps me like hitting funny bone but no pain. He gives me thing for wrist for carpal tunnel and tells me it's my age and weight and deterioration. Xray would not show anything and difficult to get approval for MRI through Tricare. Gave me Naproxen with out telling me what he was prescribing and i can't take them. I told him this started with left little finger when unloading and stacking wood. I am going to new doc soon. I want someone that pays attention to what i'm saying. I also do not have carpal tunnel.

There is something not quite right with PA David Shoen. I went in for allergies and he suggested I get a pap smear. How is that relevant? Are you not listening to me?!

He seemed to have very little interest in my concerns. I felt like he was a guy just marking time til he could retire.
