Geriatric psychiatrist. Does a lot of nothing. Very bland, unimaginative, plodder. Not very dynamic. If you want a man of nothingness he is your man.

Dr. Carlyle has treated my husband for 5 years until he retired in December of 2015. We were very sorry to hear of his retirement because he was such a good man, as was his staff. It was always a relief when I knew it was a day for the apt with Dr. Carlyle because he not only helped my husband, he also helped me with his support and understanding of what my life was like as a care-giver, We see a new Geriatric Psychiatrist tomorrow and I am sure he will be good, he was referred by Dr. Carlyle, but he has raised my expectations pretty high. Thank you Dr. Carlyle, and have a great retirement

Dr. Carlyle has been providing ECT treatments to me every 2 weeks for over a year. He is ALWAYS there. This is VERY important to me because the treatment can be very intimidating. Knowing Dr. Carlyle will be there time after time makes the ECT less intimidating. He knows me. He knows how I react to things. I feel safe knowing when I go under that Dr. Carlyle is there looking after the treatment as he has time and time again. He is VERY kind and understanding. I have witnessed his interactions with other patients and observed the same caring and concern I have experienced with Dr. Carlyle. If anyone needs his help regardless of age, I strongly recommend visiting Dr. Carlyle. I believe this is his calling and he is there to answer it. I am VERY grateful for his services and his dedication to the wellness of other. Thank You Dr. Carlyle.

Dr. Carlyle does the most in depth and useful assessments of any physician in Kelowna. I would travel across the country to have him treat my parents should they ever require his services.

Being that Dr. Carlyle is the only Geriatric Psychiatrist in all of Kelowna who is responsible for diagnostic assessment indicating the over use of antipsychotic medication, while treating the elderly with dementia with antipsychotics is not approved by the FDA and in fact causes death, heart attact, stroke and falls, and seniors' most basic of needs are being left unmet,how is it legal, ethical or possible for Dr. Carlyle to accept another single patient? What is the standard, ethical ratio of geriatric/psychiatric patients per geriatric psychiatrist?
