Paddington dental surgery is amazing place if you want to have very high level of dental care . I had really bad experience with dental care before, so it’s took me around 9 months to find perfect dental surgery. Duncan Copp did all my feelings plus more . He is perfectionist and very talented at his job , that’s why he is in such a high demand!
He also did a few very very complicated teeth removal
I won’t go anywhere else ! He is only dentist in Sydney I can trust with my eyes close. His care is beyond believe. His hands are very light and gentle. Plus he has an amazing personality that put you at ease straight away . I can’t speak about this dentist high enough. Thank you so so much Duncan for amazing perfect job you did with my teeth

I was so lucky to get an appointment with Duncan. I am normally very anxious when it comes to the dentist and I had a recent bad experience so I was really worried. Duncan completely solved my issue and I felt so safe in his care. He really listened to my worries and I am so happy with my teeth now. The practice is lovely too and so calming. My crooked, stained teeth had annoyed me for years. I decided, after a lot of internet research, to have teeth bleaching and porcelain veneers at a celebrated cosmetic dentist in Double Bay. He promised the earth, told me of all the celebrities he treated, and was extremely expensive. So he must have been good. Right? I honestly thought I was in good hands. How wrong I was. It was a disaster, and the worst mistake of my life. The Dr was rushed, angry, and kept on forcing laughing gas on me 'to make things better'. I felt humiliated, ashamed and embarrassed of what he did to my smile. All my friends thought my teeth looked fake, and I was scared to go back. But I did return and confront him. The bleaching on the bottom teeth hadn't worked, but he redid the veneers on my top teeth. However they looked even worse and my gums became very infected. At this point I was angry, frustrated, and scared that I had ruined my teeth for life. After more internet research I found my saviour, Dr Duncan Copp. To cut a very long story short, he restored my faith in dentistry. He is so confident, capable and caring. I had his personal mobile number, so when a temporary veneer came off, when I ate a toffee, he saw me at no charge on a Sunday evening. Duncan has an amazing technique where he demonstrates your smile digitally beforehand, and then builds it as temporaries. You get so much interaction, you can design the most perfect smile. Together. The entire experience at The Paddington Dental Surgery exceeded my expectations in every way. From the calm, chic interiors to the amazing magic Dr Copp and his team perform on your teeth, to their genuine concern for your wellbeing and every possible need, this clinic offers the ultimate in compassionate, ethical dental care.

I presented to Duncan with a severe toothache during lockdown on a Saturday - when no other dentists were open. He saw me within a couple of hours, treated the issue and gave me his personal mobile in case I was in pain. He then checked in with me on the Sunday morning to see if I was ok.

Since then I’ve had a series of dental treatments in the past couple of years and this same level of care has been consistent throughout.

I’m always anxious about dental work, but have never felt pain here! I don’t mind going to the dentist anymore.

Duncan is also an expert in dentistry who continues to study and further his knowledge - he’s clearly passionate about dentistry and is a perfectionist. I’m very lucky to have found this place!

I will never go anywhere else. Dental procedures give me extreme anxiety, but not anymore!
I actually look forward to going to this clinic. Everyone there is incredible! I’ve been a patient there for a little over five years. Everyone there is taking such great care of me from day one. Not only is Dr Copp exceptional at what he does, he is exceptional at communicating with his patients. I wish I could get my teeth cleaned once a month because I love my hygienist Jess! She does amazing work. Infact the entire team are wonderful.

After struggling to find a good dentist for years, I hit the jackpot with The Paddington Dental Surgery. The practice is spick and span – situated in a well-presented terrace house; reception staff are friendly and competent. Dr Copp is a highly-skilled perfectionist who is always happy to discuss and explain dental treatments, answer my many questions and continually checks in with me during treatments. The dental nurses are kind and caring, and treatments pass quickly, usually with a documentary or cooking show on the screen.

I have complicated medical/dental issues and Dr Copp practises a patient-centred dentistry that has enabled me to finally get to the bottom of them, referring me to multiple specialists and never quitting on me. If there has been an emergency, the practice has bent over backwards to fit me in. Dr Copp has gone above and beyond repeatedly and done excellent work. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I happily travel from Wollongong to see Duncan, and I would travel a lot further for the magical unicorn of a dentist I am comfortable with and have complete confidence in.

Best dentist ever!
