My overall experience with Dr. Hu has been very well. He is a very through physician who has treated my condition with appropriate medications and treatments.

It has been amazing experience since day one. The staff deserves a lot of credit as does Dr Hu. The staff makes you feel comfortable every time you see them. I always recommend everyone I come across to Dr Hu. I very happy to be almost off the meds that I am taking.

Dr. Hu is very good with patients. I have been living in pain for eight years. I got laid off from a job paying several hundred thousand dollars a year after my accident . Before the combination of injections and medication I was unable to hold down a good job afterwards. Now I have had the same job for almost five years, receiving multiple promotions, and am almost back to where I was pre accident . My entire life, and that of my family, are almost normal now.

I have been with Dr Hu for quite some time and have trusted him to be honest with me through many back and neck rhizotomy I have needed as I am not a candidate for laser back surgery at this time. He has proven time and time again to relieve the pain in my back through these procedures and work with my insurance company to get paid in a reasonable manner. Be reasonable with him and he will be reasonable with you! I would recommend him to anyone I know. He seems honest and trustworthy. You must have patience!

Best approach to pain medicine I have ever experienced. Dr Hu takes the time necessary to listen understand the pain and execute a plan to help. He is better than UT Southwestern,Baylor and others I have tried

Dr Hu Ida very thorough Dr. I was with another pain mngmt dr for 5 years & he was horrible, could care less about new pain areas that arose he spent 5 min in the room w/me after waiting hour to get in then used an anesthesiologist that didn't take same insurance so claims I owe him thousands of dollars. Dr Hu really listens and tries to help all issues I have. The only thing I've learned is that since he's so thorough I always schedule months in advance to get first apt so I don't have to wait a long time. Overall he's the best!

Dr.Hu is the most knowledgeable doctor I've met when it comes to relieving pain. He doesn't just prescribe pills and send you on your way. He listens, exams, and treats the pain. I am so grateful for this dr. Yes, you will wait when you have an appointment but people when it's your turn he treats you so wonderful and wants to stop your pain not just do what HE thinks is best. He listens! He examines! He treats! You feel better! Kristen, Jana, & the kind x-ray guy are always so cheerful.

Dr. Hu saved my life...quite literally. I have suffered for 12 years with degenerative disc disease...have had multiple back and neck surgeries and currently have a neurostimulator implanted in my spine which helps somewhat with the pain. Dr. Hu was able to completely get me OFF of pain meds (my ultimate goal) and get me feeling 99% better (like I used to feel). He takes more time with his patients to understand each one's unique circumstances. My husband has neck problems and also sees Dr. Hu. We both highly recommend him. He is not a sick man...if you have only gone once, waited a long time in the waiting room, then you are more than likely irritated going into the visit. His questions are not maliciously intended...I think he is genuinely asking questions to start conversation and I believe that some of the people on this thread misunderstood him and took him the wrong way. Given a chance, he is an amazing doctor who is there to help his patients. He doesn't deal /w any BS...that's the reason for the drug testing and I respect and appreciate that. I have been to at least 15+ pain doctors in the area trying to find the "right" one to treat my condition and I'm staying /w Dr. Hu. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from chronic pain.
