After reading the reviews from Jan & Feb I felt driven to add my two cents. I believe you complainers need to see a shrink instead of a Family Physician. I have been a patient of Dr.Kristy Magee since she was in residency at Florida Hospital.I have never experienced ANYONE rude in her office.Complete professionalism. Speedy responses, never having to hold, and they are always willing to "work me in". When leaving a message for the nurses, calls are always answered promptly...same day.As far as the nurse practitioner is concerned, she is completely professional, extremely knowledgeable and empathetic and I am happy to have her see me when Dr Kristy is unavailable. I drive from College Park to Lake Mary to visit this friendly, efficient office. Attitude is everything and I've never experienced anything but greatness with this practice. I have and will continue to recommend their office to family and friends.

I find Kristy McGee to be very helpful and also a caring physician. I had switched from another Dr who after a few years of visits, seemed uncaring and it was a rush to get you out of the office, did not have time for questions and his staff had gone downhill as well. It was and still is refreshing to know that Dr. McGee is always available and very helpful when I need her.

Unwilling to go the extra step to find answers in some instances. Inconsistent.

Dr. Kristy has been a huge disappointment. I was her patient when she and Ed were in residency. She was kind and smart. So when she started her own practice I signed my elderly mother and my daughter up. HUGE mistake. She has the rudest staff, and she has altogether changed. It took two phone calls and two trips to her office to get the correct blood test and results. She's not so good a doctor that she can surround herself with obnoxious staff and we'll keep coming back. Robin is the absolute rudest person there. DON'T TAKE ANYONE YOU LOVE THERE. Bad idea. My mother went to her with severe pain and was pushed off to a Nurse practioner (Dr. Kristy been through 3 in as many years). Mom didn't hear back from anyone. When she called the imaging place they told her that she had gallstones. Never heard that from Dr. Kristy or staff. You won't get the care or attention you need. I haven't found any malpractice claims against her, but it is only a matter of time.

Dr. Magee seemed nice but after one visit I will not be back. I had to wait 2 months to get an appointment for new patients. The appt was short and not very thorough, dr. M left the room abruptly, never having looked at the paper work I filled out. I was told by the nurse that she couldn't refill my rx without a full exam, which would be another 2 weeks to get in for. I was sent on a wild goose chase to get blood work done - they gave me the wrong patient's paperwork, the lab they sent me to didn't take my insurance...Dr. Magee seems smart and kind, but the amount of red tape and the rudness of the staff there just isn't worth a second vistit

BUT MADE ME FEEL LIKE MY DAUGHTER WAS NOT UP TO PAR WITH A 4 YR OLD IM NOT SAYING THIS BECAUSE IM IN DENIAL BUT I READ A LOT AND AT HOME SHE DOES NOT BEHAVE THE WAY A CHILD WITH A LEARNING DISABILITY BEHAVES AND DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A LEARNING PROBLEM AT ALL, JUST BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT COUNT FOR HER DOESNT MEAN SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO IT, IM NOT GOING BACK TO HER I THINK DR ED IS THE ONE WITH THE MOST EXPERIENCE THERE.WE LOVE HIM, HER NOT SO MUCH AS FOR THE STAFF I AN CARE LESS FOR THEM THEY ARE OK BUT WITH ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.

I've been seeing Dr. Magee for several years and love her. She is always helpful and concerned regarding my overall health. She returns my phone calls and makes herself available to me at all times. I feel that she will only improve as she and her practice grows. I really appreciate that it is a family oriented practice where my whole family can be treat. A+ from me. Remember, not everyone is going to be happy all the time.

The staff in this office are extremely rude. The nurse practitioner is very unprofessional. Dr. Kristy Magee is really nice and caring. She needs to get rid of most of her staff though. we will be leaving her office due to them.

Did not address my 18 year old daughter's issues. She was just told "well...if it ever happens again come see me" when my daughter told her this particular issue was reocurring. In addition, my cholesterol came back from the lab over 200. Not extreme but was highlighted in red and my cholestersol has never been that high. The message on my home phone from someone I don't even know was "results are back from the lab and everything is just fine". I should have expected a word of warning that it is elevated and some minor lifestyle changes would be in order (I'm in my mid 50's). Horrible, horrible experience. I have all of my medical records to show this travesty. And we paid full price for the wasted office visit for my daughter. She is now getting wonderful treatment from an real doctor in Boca Raton who recognized the problem immediately.
