One of the few at TDH who cares about his patient’s. He makes sure tests are done and makes you feel heard and validated. He never ostracizes you for being there no matter what your reasoning and is always kind. Great bedside manner and just an all around great doctor.

I went to the emergency for mom and we saw Dr. Loreto, I found him very courteous, professional, I like him

Made me feel like he really cared about the pain I was having. He found the real issue that I was having an never dismissed me once telling me it was just my period. He got the right tests done right away and never once made me feel uncomfortable or like he thought I came in for nothing.

Friday evening of the long weekend, my husband was seen in emerg. with what Dr. Loreto quickly determined was a severely broken femur holding a very recent total hip replacement. He moved in to action quickly, called in orthopedist surgeon & it was decided we needed to get back to Toronto ASAP. Dr. Loreto persisted in communication with ORNGE AIR and finally got us a flight out at 2:00 AM. He also did what needed to be done to co-ordinate ambulance transfers & having a room ready for us at Trillium when we arrived. His manner of dealing us in a difficult situation was professional, yet amiable. Plus Carol was fantastic!

He misdiagnosed me other IBS when I had severe gall bladder issues. I ended up being admitted and flown to Toronto a few weeks later. To make matters worse I told him it was my gall bladder and was seeing dr. Kelly. He lied to me that he confirmed with dr Kelly what my diagnosis was. Prescribed wrong meds and when I disagreed with him he threatened to kick me out of ER. I could have died. He ran no tests.

Brought my child to ER, sent home. Later returned and had to be admitted. Waste of time. I don't bring my child to emerge for just a cold...when I go, there is something wrong. Not a good experience at all.
