I had sinus and breathing problems for years. I delayed seeing an ENT because what I had heard about sinus surgery, that it was a horrible experience. When I saw Dr. Henry Graves Hearnsberger he did a CT and told me I had polyps from recurrent sinus infections and a sinus that was not draining properly. After the surgery I could breath, I could really breath. There was no gauze packing in the nose after surgery. I used a saline spray to soothe my sinus for a week until it healed. I was amazed at how easy, how painless it was. He is a great doctor, I would not hesitate to have him operate on me again if I needed it.

I was referred to Dr. Hearnsberger from another ENT and was told he would know about my situation when I got there. Well he didn't know anything about me and treated me as if I was stupid for being there just because I couldn't force spinal fluid to flow from my nose. I had already been tested by the other ENT and it was confirmed I had spinal fluid leakage. Dr. Hearnsberger never even heard of the test that was performed through St Vincent. Then he wanted to know where I had my CT Scan and I told him. He said he was going to look at it and was gone about 60 seconds before coming back with his diagnosis of Intracranial hypertension. I asked if this could be caused from my chronic kidney disease and he said he never heard such a thing. He insisted it was caused by being overweight. I did my own research and found out it can be caused by kidney disease. He prescribed me medication and told me to call my kidney specialist to see if i could even take it and to call back in a few weeks. I am so unimpressed with this doctor that I wouldn't trust him to do any surgery on me or anyone else.

I had my sinus surgery the second week of October 2015. I was referred to him by a hospital administrator. She said he's an amazing doctor and can make me breathe again. This guy is very to the point. Knows his stuff. Very personal. Before the surgery he told me what to expect after the surgery....he was dead on. He doesn't sugar coat anything. I would go through it again with him tomorrow if I had to. Hands down he did an amazing job. I haven't been able to breathe properly for 23 years because no doctor has ever told me I had chronic sinusitis and polyps were blocking my airway along with a screwed up septum. My left ear hearing was blocked as well and after the surgery I could hear a lot better. I recommend dr. hernsberger to anyone with sinus issues. A+++

Super doctor! I went for a consultation and just had surgery performed. I expected to be in worse pain but everything is going smoothly. A+++ experience !!

Dr. Hearnsberger was excellent to deal with. He doesn't beat around the bush, but has an excellent bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Hearnsberger and his staff are true professionals in every way. Dr. Hearnsberger is a brilliant diagnostician, very informed on the newest treatments for ent issues and a genuinely caring Doctor. His staff is without a doubt, the very best of what we all hope for at a physician's office. Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hearnsberger
