Dr Baker Palmer is terrific in my opinion. I've been her patient for about 6 years now. I miss her old receptionist, though. No matter how the Dr visit went, Katie would always be pleasant and smile and you would leave in a good mood. The new receptionist, however, acts like it's a real pain just to talk to you. She rarely returns phone calls and if she does it's almost a week later. I love Dr Baker Palmer but I dread going there now.

I have been a patient of Dr. Baker-Palmer for almost 3 years now and she is a very wonderful doctor. She is very personable and really listens to you when you are talking. She has answered all my questions and helped me with my pregnancy. She even is now taking care of my daughters. The staff at her office can come off rude at times. When I called with a question about my three month daughter it took 5 minutes for someone to answer the phone and when they did I was immediately put on hold and it took another 2-3 minutes for someone to talk to me. Dr. Baker-Palmer is a fantastic doctor and I would highly recommend her, unfortunately her staff's perceived attitude could turn potential patients away.

Called asking if they were accepting new patients. Staff member was very rude on the phone and told me No with a big sigh afterwards. I understand with all the new laws doc offices are really busy with new patients but I have insurance and currently on no meds. Haven't seen a g.p. doctor in years. Was just looking for a new doctor to get a checkup and one that I could stay with long term. Guess there is another MD out there that would like my insurances money.

It's too bad, because I really like Dr. Baker-Palmer's personality, but something is a bit off. I called and left a message (because, as a previous reviewer said, the staff never seems to answer the phone) to make an appointment. They never called back. I had to call again to make an appointment. When I met w/ the dr., she really listens and is personable - but almost to a fault. She doesn't have a chart or take notes so she can have a conversation with you. Well, one thing we discussed was starting up on a medication again. She said she'd have it called in. I never heard from my pharmacy so I called them a week later and they said nothing was ever called in. So I had to call the doctor's office and again left a message. Then they called back the next day saying they called it in. Then I went to pick it up and it was a different prescription for the ailment. So I called up and left a message (again) explaining I wasn't opposed to a different medicine, but why was I prescribed this instead of the other? I never heard from them. So I had to call back (again) and leave a message about how I left a message. A staff person called me back and said they switched it to the other original Rx I'd mentioned. She said that one wasn't in my chart, so she hadn't ordered it from the pharmacy. I told her the one they had given me I had never been prescribed before, so I don't know where that came from. I expressed my dissatisfaction about my phone calls being returned and general follow-up. She said things are really busy. I feel like MAYBE some of the problem could be the doctor not taking notes. Or it could be general disorganization in the office. Or a combo of both. Again, it's too bad because the doctor's personality and demeanor are very easy and likable.

fantastic doctor! she delivered my son and has been the most compassionate, caring physician I have ever met. I always get escorted to a room promptly by a courteous staff. I have never had any issues with triage at this office, nor have I had any problems with getting paperwork for other doctors. She always makes me feel like my family is important to her, regardless of how busy she may be.

This doctor's staff does very poor work. They doen't take vitals as they should, they forget to forward your paperwork needed by other doctors and they never answer their phone. If you're looking for a family doctor, keep looking.
