My little Girl almost lost her hearing in one ear because she did not want to refer us to the specialist.

I would not recommend Dr Shukla@Hebron pediatrics to anyone.We were in the office because my child was sick and instead of worrying about what was wrong with my child when she walked into our room, the first thing out of her mouth was your child has not been in for their a nnual check up, not what is wrong with your child today. Her only concern was why my child had not been in for their annual check up.Then proceeded to tell me that I should look for a new pediatrician,all of this happened before she even asked what was wrong with my child today.And when it came time to prescribe his medicine, she wanted to give him something he was allergic to.My question is if she studied his chart to see the last time he was in the office you would think she would have looked to see what he was allergic to but instead I had to inform her that my child was allergic to that med.I called to switch my dr and was told they would not switch my dr. And I would have to go elsewhere.

My daughter had alot of ear infections from ages newborn to 2years old.Dr. Shukla, would prescribe antibiotics, and we would often come back for a second type of antibiotics because the first did not get rid of her ear infections.I asked repeatedly for Dr. Shukla to refer my daughter to an ear specialist and she said she didn't want to do that just yet.The ear infections continued.I was adimate that we get refered to a specialist.We were finally refered and the specialist said, she should have had tubes a long time ago.We are still dealing with some of the consequences of Dr. Shukla not taking proper action for my daughters ear infections. Dr. Shukla also did not circumcise my son enough and we still have issues keeping the extra skin pulled back and having trouble cleaning it.I as a parent put my trust in Dr. Shukla and due to her lack of knowledge and care my son and daughter are continuing to pay the price for this carelessnes of their doctor, Dr.Shukla.

Have always been very pleased with the staff and appointments and Dr. Shukla is very knowledgeable, patient and concerned, my grandson has gone to her for 12 1/2 years she is a very personable and friendly doctor : )

I took my child there for two years. The staff has a huge turn over rate and we ended up leaving due to the rudeness of certain staff members. Dr. Shukla herself is nice and reasonably knowledgeable though it was not uncommon to wait over an hour.
