Staff is not friendly not very professional.. I made appointment to see Dr. Alper to get my Prolia injection. Instead, I was seen by Kate, PA. When I asked her why didn't Dr. Alper see me, she said, "Dr. Alper no longer deals with people who have Osteoperosis". This was strange response as he is a Rheumatologist. Anyway, she sent me for bloodwork needed for the Prolia infusion. Bloodwork came back very abnormal. Someone from her office called me to tell me I needed to see Dr, w - - g a Hematologist. Kate never called me herself to tell me what she thought problem with abnormal bloodwork could indicate. She said she called that office to make appointment. I called Dr. office myself and they told me they didn't receive the order from Dr. Alper's office. At that point I gave up and went elsewhere for my Prolia injection. I sent a letter marked confidential to Dr. Alper on Dec. 28, 2022, to voice my experience and to this date he has not responded. I went to Dr. Alper years ago for a Prolia injection and had no problem seeing Dr. Alper and had my Prolia injection in the same facility, I was told I can't use the word w - - g in my review, can't help it that was the doctor's name!

They dropped me, a long-time patient there for questioning his fellow rheumatologist who I saw. I was receiving infusions there also.
My infusion appointment times were changed and Long story short is that this woman working with him switched my medication without communicating that to me.
When I questioned her she became very defensive. Dr Alper dropped me as a patient leaving me without a doctor and place for my infusions.
I later tried to reconnect and they sent my records to a place they recommended without my knowledge again!
Protecting a doctor’s ego was more important that patient care.
Another problem for me was the lack of clarity on the charges as I did not receive any itemized receipts or records on charges. I was told they had a person who decides on the costs I’d have to pay.
Starting over with a doctor, infusion center, and insurance is overwhelming for me as I have RA. Lupus, and other related problems.

left three messages for an appointment but have never received a call back. They do nothing but write a description but never check to find out if it's working.

Listens well in both my visits and quick to respond if needed. I have been very pleased thus far and have improved significantly.

I saw Dr. Alper on two occasions. He did not have any patience to listen to my concerns! He tried to diagnose me with fibromyalgia after the first visit! He confused me with another patient and didn't even apologize. I was very upset, disappointed, and frustrated. Especially after going through three years of chronic pain and placing hope on the one person that could give me answers. I am with a new rheumatologist now. A doctor that took his time and patience and diagnosed me properly. I have psoriatic arthritis with heavy spinal involvement. I would hate for anyone else to have an experience like mine. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone!

Dr Alper is awesome! I was transfered to him when my rheumatologist moved back to New York. I liked my old Dr. very much, but am even happier having been switched to Dr. Alper! I feel he listens, has an excellent grasp of his profession, genuinely cares about his patients and has a very good staff. Highly recommended!

I love Dr. Alper. He saved my life. He has always gone above and beyond for me. He takes a lot of time out of his practice to make sure his patients get help with disability, social security and new drug therapies for rare vascular diseases. No, he is not seinfeld, but he is a kind man. once you go to him for a long time you see how he cares, how he really wants to help his patients. Being someone is a rare and somewhat lethal disease I can assure you that I trust him very much. Yes, I have had questions and he's willing to look up other therapies or talk with an expert doc on my rare disease. I'm shocked to see someone thought he doesn't help his patients. He and his staff are always there for me. He returns calls after hours, types letters if you need them, is concerned about my physical AND mental health. He's a great doc...especially in Naples. You dont' find many that take their practice seriously in this retiree town. Thanks, doc Alper!
