He doesn't want to hear you describe your symptoms; he just wants to talk. He is extremely rude and condescending towards anyone who might have researched the medical problem on the internet before hand. He treats everyone without distinction as an ignorant and stupid person. His actual knowledge is suspect as he contradicted my cardiologist on a very basic matter which shows he is not current on his education. He is also very slow in communicating the results of blood tests.

bad experience from start to finish. Dr. Baca seems rushed during an exam like he's behind schedule and needs to finish and move onto the next patient. That Doesn't convey a sense that he truly cares about my health. I have to call him to find out test results long after his office receives the info. Moving on to a new Doc!

I went to see Dr. Baca and it was a waste of my time. I had a great doc at ABQ Health Partners but I needed a new PCP because I changed jobs and therefore my insurance company changed. Dr. Baca came in the office, fired a list of questions at me, went to get me a referral and never came back in the room. His assistant brought me the referral form and that was it. I asked if the doctor was going to come back and follow up with me on the plan, nope, he was done. I expressed that I thought that was rude and odd seeing as I was a new patient and he barely talked with me. Then I left and told the receptionist I wanted a new doctor. They helped me find one and now I have to make another appt and start over. If you want someone who will actually listen and provide you with decent care, don't bother with this guy. He did make one joke before leaving the room that was awkward so I guess he was trying?

Spent less than 5 minutes with me. Second appointment claimed I was going to be fine. The next day I went to ER and was hospitalized with something serious. I obviously wasn't fine and if I would have listened to him I'd be even worse off or dead. I do not recommend him to my worst enemy.

I think Dr Baca is very rude as many people agree , he asked me how much alcohol I consume and I said none then he told me that I was a lier and that all HISPANIC people drink and I just said I drink if I want to but have no desire other than some one with my meals, and he stood very serious and insisted that I was a lier. So I left and changed doctor

Very rude, arrogant, and should not be practicing. Insulting. I was so upset after leaving his office I asked if I could see someone else. I could not because insurance would not cover it. Southwest Medical was sympathetic. Thanks to people like this - I will seek medical care outside the traditional model. If you can call what this guy provides "care".

Having really bad time on zoloft that was prescribed by another doctor at Southwest Medical (no you can never see the same doctor twice there) and called like the prescription warning said when I started having worsening symptoms. Could not get into the other doctor but since somehow Dr. Baca became my PCP he had an appointment but REFUSED to see me because he did not prescribe the medicine. All I wanted was for someone to help me get through the weekend safely but that apparently is not his concern. I will never EVER see Dr. Baca again, neither will my husband.
