My family found Dr. John Gwin to be very helpful when dealing with cancer and the surgery. He explained the surgery and treatments that could be used. I would recommend him to anyone needing an excellent doctor

I have seen Dr. Gwin for years and have always been pleased with he and his staff. Apparently he has had staff issues and the trustworthy and efficient staff that I have come to know and trust were no longer there. I had issues making an appointment and the new employees just did not have the people skills nor did they seem to care like the other ladies did. Sadly even though Dr. Gwin is a good doctor dealing with an incompetent office staff is not worth it.

This is a wonderful doctor and a fabulous staff. He spent so much time with me explaining the diagnosis I had just received and the surgery that was needed. I have recommended him to family and friends and they think very highly of him.

My Mom was in the hospital for 92 days back in 2006. Dr. Gwin was very caring and would come a check on her all hours of the day and night. He performed several surgeries on her and was very good to explain everything he was doing. Dr. Gwin's staff has to be the very best in Chattanooga. I would let him do surgery on me or anyone in my family. I highly recommend this Doctor to anyone.

Very knowledgable. Delivers appropriate medical care. Unfortunately, is very uncompassionate. Does not seem to listen to patient. Can be difficult to work with.
