I went to Dr. Miller for a biopsy after an abnormal pap smear. She has lots of knowledge, but has a cold bedside manner and was dressed like she was going to a night club (no doctor coat, no gloves). She didnt do a very good job with the biopsy either, which caused significant bleeding. But the worst part of the experience was when her old coonhound dog got up and entered the exam room while we were discussing my results. Never in my life have I had a doctor allow an animal into an exam room. I have to think there is some sort of a law against this somewhere, even in Alabama. I dont recommend Dr. Miller.

I went to Dr Miller 3 times during my pregnancy and decided to change doctors midway through. The staff, was not rude, but was never friendly. It honestly seemed as if they did not enjoy their job at all. Dr Miller was always punctual but then again, its because her office was always empty. Helpfulness, not al all. She did not go into detail about anything with me, then asked if I had questions, I had none because I did not know what to ask. With this being my first, I wish she had of seemed a little more interested and given me a lot of info. When I asked a question, I always feel stupid afterwards. I LOVED my new doctor and do not suggest that you go to Dr Miller.

Dr. Miller was the on call doctor at Huntsville Hospital when I delivered our baby boy @ 23 weeks. When she was introduced as the doctor my husband and I immediately made eye contact and determined that her appearance was not up to par. She looked disheveled and appeared not to have her dentures in. She consistently walked in and out our room not saying anything to myself or husband but whispering to RN staff. Immediately I felt a cold unempathetic doctor. When she finally introduced herself she was very pessimistic stating if my child did make it he would be mentally retarded have learning delays and be hospitalized all of which we were very well aware of. No sense of hope and pretty much said he wouldn't make it before I'd given birth. While my doctor had saw me that day he stated I'd recieve a steroid shot if I'd gone into labor early, when I asked her for the shot she told me NO because I had an infection. Well come to find out me having an infection does not prevent a steroid shot

Find another doctor- A.s.a.P. She was not kind or sympathetic to any situations I had. Infact asked me if I thought it was ok to become pregnant. She also did a biopsy without any pain medication and clipped several areas of my cervix with surgical scissors. Felt like seeing Dr. Jekyll.

Dr. Miller is a wonderfully no-nonsense physician. She'll tell you what you need to know, give you all the information, and will take the time to answer your questions. She's almost always on time, with the exception (common to OBGYNs) of when she's delivering a particularly difficult baby. There is an "office dog" (sweet elderly thing) who sleeps in her office at the end of the hall, so this may not be the office for you if you are terrified of dogs.

Dr. Miller is just an okay doctor in my opinion. Once I had a biopsy after an abnormal papsmear. She did the biopsy then left the room without telling me I would have bleeding when I sat up. I started bleeding a lot and freaked out. I had to yell down the hall for her to come back. She really should have told me that was a possibility beforehand. She may be knowledgeable about her field but she doesn't necessarily share that knowledge with her patients and is not very friendly.
