Dr. Martin is wonderful. She delivered my son in 2002. I was told by my regular physician that she decided to stop working and stay home with her kids. I don't know if that's true or not, but I am disappointed that I have to find someone new.

Dr. Martin is by far the best Gyn I have ever seen. While it is true she is extremely busy and crunched for time she has always given me her attention and treated me w/ the utmost care & respect. She is FANTASTIC! I have been her patient for several years. She has dissapeared from the office I utilize and if anyone has any info on where she has gone please tell me. I would be happy to change offices to find her. The rest of the staff is very nice but she is so wonderful that whereever she is is where I want to go!

I have been a patient of Dr. Martin's for approximately 8 years, and recommend her highly. I am past the age of needing an ob, but her care for my gyn. needs is first rate. I have found both her and the nurse practitioner to be knowledgeable, sympathetic, and caring. She diagnosed and treated a precancerous condition I had immediately after hearing my description and doing a procedure. My daughters both are patients, and like her very much. I do not recognize the "snobby doctor with no bedside manner" that others have rated. I find her charming and friendly. I think Dr. Martin is excellent, and I rate her most highly.

Dr. Amy Martin is an AMAZING doctor! I cannot believe some of the negative ratings I have read. Dr. Martin is extremely smart, thorough, and completely down to earth. She has the BEST bedside manner! She is extremely busy, yet she still takes time to not only examine you...and do her job...but she has true, "heart-to-heart" conversation with you...as long as you participate in the conversing. I am a very shy person and the ob/gyn has always made me uncomfortable until I went to Dr. Martin. She is so sweet and has a great sense of humor, as well. She has always made me feel comfortable...especially when I had my first baby. Yes, they do use mid-wives and I was very sceptical at first. She told me to just meet them and if I still wasn't comfortable, we could arrange for an MD to do the actual delivery. I can't say enough about her...especially her bedside manner...I don't know what these other people are referring to....She is a great doc!

i have been seeing dr. martin for years. i cannot recommend her practice enough. she has always taken extra time with me during visits and even visited me after my daughter was born (she could not attend the birth).

DR. MARTAIN IS VERY BUSY SO SHE DOES NOT HAVE HEART TO HEART CONVERSATIONS BUT IF YOU TELL A LITTLE BIT @ YOURSELF SHE WILL GET TO KNOW YOU AND NOT RUN OUT AS QUICKLY. SHE ALWAYS IS CRUNCHING FOR TIME WITH PATIENTS B/C SHE GETS OVER BOOKED.

I chose Dr. Martin because she was the closest OB/GYN to my office and was in-network with my insurance. I wish that I had visited this site first. Dr. Martin's comments are very clinical with little bedside manner. She stated that her practice uses midwives and they deliver almost all babies vaginally and rarely use cesarean as a means for delivery. Therefore, if you are a high risk pregnancy do not bother going to this practice. I did not know that I was considered high risk because this was my first pregnancy and I have 0 health problems except being overweight. She did not answer my questions regarding the pregnancy and advised me to find another doctor.

She made me feel so ashamed for being there. I had had unprotected sex and wanted to be tested for STDs in addition to my regular annual exam. She made me feel like the dirtiest, most disgusting creature alive. Maybe she only likes delivering babies or something, but this woman made me want to cry.
