Sometimes ok, but at times would be so curt..."One appointment, one problem. Make another appointment." And after a long time treated me ok, but for a long time seemed judgmental about me and my self-care. A relative saw her in an emergency and she was cruel.

I came in with multiple issues that have been present for months. She accused me of drug abuse and stated it was a psychological problem. When I asked about the blood in my urine and elevated proteins, she stated oh I guess you can't fake that.

After reading some of the other comments, I don't feel bad about how I felt after my first, last and only visit with her...I never wanted to see her again.

Recently moved to the Duluth, MN area and was looking for a primary care physician. She was kind, asked many questions to get to know me and my family history and was very personable. She did refer me to an opthomologist for what I told her was just a seasonal alergy; felt she didnt' quite listen to me on that one. Due to my family history and recent, rapid weight gain she referred me to the Weight Management Clinic, I'm going to go for my initial appointment and see if insurance will cover it. Her follow up from my blood tests was VERY timely and detailed. All in all I had a great experience. Not entirely confident she will be my primary physician.

I recently made Dr Jepson my PCP at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. I am changing that. Every time I have seen her she has been rude and belittled me. I she made fun of my body piercings and made me feel ashamed and embarrassed. When trying to discuss personal health issues I have been having she always tells me she doesn't have time to discuss them and to schedule another appointment. She is never on time and told me once when I was 5 min late that if I was late again she would not see me. Very unprofessional behavior in my opinion. Doctors are supposed to make you feel comfortable not make fun of you, belittle you and make you feel horrible.

Helpful, friendly and accessible. A good Doctor overall, & I like that Aspen has many specialties in one place. Easy.

This doctor has been described as brusque, and she can be and at times she can talk down to you, but I've seen her so many times, that I think it really depends what day you catch her on, and how rough her day has been. She has sent me on to specialists, but I've always needed to see them. I think the problem lies with Aspen, because instead of sending me to one of their employed specialists right away, they make an appointment with Dr. Jepson for me. I think for some issues such as pain in my foot when I walk, the middle man could be cut out, and I could be sent to a Podiatrist right away, however I don't think the receptionist is given this authority. Overall, she is knowledgeable, and detail-driven. She wont give up if she doesn't have the answer, and calls you at home occasionally when it is warranted.

This doctor just looks at you and sends you for many expensive tests. She also had me out of work for an illness, and once back to work, actually insisted I make an appointment to come in to help her fill out her side of the paperwork. She can also be very brusque. Changed doctors after these incidents.

I saw her for several years, and for the most part she was helpful and kind. She was instrumental in getting my asthma diagnosed (in my twenties!). The last meeting I had with her (late 2007) was horrible and I will not return. She was brusque and rude and did not help me at all. This saddens me, because I had so many good experiences with her.

I would not recommend this doctor. She has a great personality, if that's all you care about. She was an hour late to my appointment, the staff never let me know she was running late... and as she walked in, she left to check her pager, leaving me for another 15 minutes. After being so late, she lectured me because I complained of pain in more than one area, she told me that there's not enough time, and I need to come with one complaint, or else schedule a long appt. (2 of my 3 complaints were for referrals she never responded to over the phone, one of which was recommended by my dentist. Anyways, I was highly offended that she had the audacity to lecture me on time managament, when she was SO late. Furthermore, she seems to not be very knowledgeable, in the visits I have had, the most she has done for me, for anything, is write referrals. If you want an easy referral, go to her, and pay a nice lump of copays to specialists, because she won't help.
