Love Dr Tigert. He’s direct, tactful, and no nonsense while remaining very kind. He’s incredibly knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Dr. Tigert saved my life. I was 12 weeks and came into the ER with a miscarriage and bleeding heavily. I was already in hemorrhagic shock when i walked in to the ER and because it was in the wee hours of the morning, Dr. Tigert was literally on his way out. He made an exception and came and saw me, literally 20mins later i was in the OR. I was in rough shape, BP in the 50's, HGB had dropped to 70 within an hour of coming to the hospital, blacked out 4 times from 4-6am. He had helped with my care with my previous pregnancy and as soon as I saw him I knew I would be okay. I always loved him and his expertise prior to my emergency, but that day he quite litarally saved my life. I remember him standing at my bedside squeezing IV bags to push fluid, and rushing my stretcher into the OR himself. No words could express my gratitude for this man and the CVH team. They are the best.

I was admitted at CVH for over 5 wks with ruptured membranes &. Discharge from vagina. One afternoon ,discharge was looking like meconia so ,nurse called dr. Tigert who was on call & about to finish his day at Labour room .So he came to my room,saw the pad . He ordered NSD & came again with dr. Olsthoorn who was having night on call & took the 2nd opinion & both reassured me that baby is doing fine & to carry on.....he was super polite ,humble, had great bedside manners ,alerted about my condition to the next doctor in-charge... He is very very experienced He was not hesitant to take opinion from his junior colleague for the best interest of the patient . I liked his vibe & felt safe .

I just had a c-section with Dr Tigert at CVH. Great and friendly doctor. My only complaint is that I had to follow up with an issue during my prenatal visits. There was an issue with the baby's weight that was mentioned by the previous OB at the clinic. I met with him at the next appointment and had to remind him to check the numbers. Other than that, my c-section experience was great. He was assisted by Dr. Kanee and so far so good. The recovery seems to be great. I was discharged in 2 days. Thanks Dr Tigert! As for the Credit Valley Obstetrics Office at 2000 Credit Valley Road - that was the worst experience anyone going through pregnancy can go through. The receptionists are very impolite - they do not respect patients and so are the other staff who book hospital appointments. I once heard them yell at the guy doing the COVID-19 checks at the entrance. And they completely refused scheduling me for an appointment, which they did. They clearly don't like working there. The appointments are also always late, I waited an average of 1 hour for each appointment. Dr Gurland was extremely rude. Goodluck with him. I was with midwives for my previous 2 pregnancies and that was such a pleasant experience, I missed having a midwife every time I entered this office. Avoid this clinic if you can. I am glad this is my last pregnancy and I will not have to be subjected to that treatment again.

Dr. Tigart is a vibe! What a night and day difference from our first birth and the one with Dr Tigart in charge! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for delivering our son with no harm to my son or wife! Thank you to the nurses involved especially Roxanne and Shelby who are darlings @ Credit Valley! There are no words that my family and I can use to show the amount of gratitude we have for Dr. Tigert. We will be forever grateful for his approach with complex cyst found on my left ovary which turned out to be cancerous. If it wasn't for him I would be monitored only and the cancer would progress over time. He is a truly remarkable doctor and professional, and great human being.

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Tigert who delivered my son in March 2020. He made my (vaginal) delivery a very positive experience. Everything went very well although there had been a risk of caesarian delivery due to my health condition. He also circumcised our son a few days later without any complications. Thank you Dr. Tigert!

I recently met Dr. Tigert and it was a good experience. He answered my question which other OBs at credit valley made faces if asked. He is a good example of an excellent OB and other OBs at the credit valley should learn from him.
