Ignored mental health issues for 6 years and refused to send a referral for a psychiatrist. Ignored chronic pain for 8 years and always blamed weight even when bmi was within normal range. Only ever ordered blood tests even after everything always came back fine. Refused to send a referral to a cardiologist and instead said to “drink more water” and when I told her I already drank 80oz a day she doubled down on it. Not a good doctor, would not recommend to anyone. Maybe she was good 15-20 years ago but should not have a medical license now. Should not be wearing long acrylic nails very disgusting to see.

She has consistently gone out of her way for our family’s care over many, many years. She is thorough and caring and we are very fortunate to have her as our physician.

There is no words to say how wonderful Dr. H is. She cares about all her patients and will always make sure everything is looked after.

Dr Holman has been my doctor for years. She is compassionate and listens well. In my opinion one of the best doctors I've ever had.

Dr. Mavis Hollman was my Doctor years ago, and was always rude, rushed, and constantly made me feel like I couldn’t get out of her office quick enough. I never felt genuinely cared for by her. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Before I switched family doctors, I was a patient of hers for 35 years. She used to be incredible, kind, considerate, attentive, and totally helpful. However, in recent years, she has completely gone downhill. IMO she no longer cares about her patience and giving them the best course of treatment. For her, it's become a numbers game of trying to get all her patients out the door as quickly as possible. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that finding a family physician is extremely difficult for a lot of people, but everything about her just feels rushed and splatter shot instead of actually listening to her paitents.

I have since moved out of Kamloops, but I have discharged her as my family physician, even with phone appointments. I no longer trust her to do her job effectively.

She is a great doctor - super busy - but so incredibly knowledgeable. She definitely knows her work and doesn't hesitate to give you the best medical services possible. Thankful to have her as our doctor.

Pore bedside manner! Rushes you on the phone! Makes you feel like a burden every appointment. Stigmatized mental health! Does no follow ups! Makes you feel worthless

I have been with Dr Hollman at least 39 years (the birth of my son) . Before Covid i can honestly say that i was very fortunate to have her. Since covid, I find that it is very hard to get an appointment, I had a mamogram done which showed issues and I had to knock on her door to show her the letter with the results which i printed off of the interior health portal site. she hooked me up with a surgeon quite quickly but I have not heard a word from her since.

I haven't been in contact with her for many years, But I went to high school with her in Ponoka, AB., and worked at the University Hospital in Edmonton AB at the same time as she did. I believe you can't find a better doctor. I wish she was in Red Deer Alberta. S.B.
