I waited an hour from my appoint time. One hour. Not one person on his team ever said "oh, I'm sorry he's running late" "he'll be in shortly", nothing like that - they just let me sit in there for an hour, waiting - as though they are used to not being on schedule. I left without being seen. 15-20 minutes late is one thing. An entire hour without explanation is plain rude. It's apparent his time is important but his patient's time is not.

Dr. Mills is outstanding. Have relied on him for a number of years for straightforward, realistic medical input. Altho' a surgeon, does not push unnecessary surgery. But his staff is among the worst I have encountered in a medical setting. Totally dismissive and with no follow up. You can leave word for them with a detailed message, but unlikely anyone will care enough to return your call. Until you actually get to see Dr. Mills, expect an uphill battle! Also expect a long wait in his waiting room. He is overbooked, typically. I guess that comes with being an outstanding physician.

Dr. Mills once I was finally seen is AMAZING. He spent a lot of time with me , reviewed all my MRIs and xrays. He directed my physical therapy which helped prevent surgery for the time being. He was surprisingly apologetic for my wait and explained a little why. The staff that was shuffling me around before my visit was vague about the long wait, and wasted time asking the wrong and useless questions they didn't bother to share w Dr. Mills, thus wasting HIS valuable time w me. I hope those workers are gone next time I visit. Gee.

Dr. Mills is, by far, the BEST physician I've ever been to. He is extremely knowledgeable, very caring, and goes into great detail explaining all aspects of the injury and the required surgery. His staff was friendly, attentive and very capable. I wish more doctors could be like him.

Impatient, unprofessional, condescending and down right rude. If you ask someone to explain their issues then first off, let them talk. Don't cut them off and go off your own tangent. Secondly, don't ever raise your voice to a patient who is already frustrated and coming to you for help. Thirdly, don't contradict yourself then get annoyed when it's pointed out to you. People are coming to you from all walks of life because they're in need. Don't be so dismissive and get angry so easily when people have more than just one question for you and/or want further explanation or clarification on the answer you've given them. This is why we see doctors. Because we have questions. And we'd like them addressed without getting our heads bitten off. And if you don't like answering questions or listening to what someone is telling you, then you're in the wrong line of work. Getting angry at a patient and storming out of the room is beyond childish and in poor form. I don't care how many degrees and certificates and titles you have. That type of of treatment of another human being is completely unacceptable. You want someone to listen to your words as gospel? Perhaps you should try listening first before jumping down someone's throat.

Dr. Mills took the time to thoroughly explain my wife's injury, He took his time explaining the nature of the injury, Approx. time to heal. He then fitted her with a boot, took 20 minutes explaining what the boot does and how to use it. He's one of the rare breed of doctors that truely cares. HE IS A "10".

Dr. Mills is the very best specialist and had to undo damage previously done to me by two other specialists. I would go to him again before anyone else. He was able to get me walking again after two years. I wish he was on my medical plan now. I could sure use him. He has a great personality and is very caring.
