HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE BEST ANKLE SURGEON IN BROWARD COUNTY. ACTUALLY, PROBABLY IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Dr. Mills came recommended to me by a colleague, however, he completely botched my foot surgery and five years later I cannot even bend my toe due to an abundance of scar tissue. After seeking the advice of other professionals in the field post-surgery, I was sadly informed that the initial incision was placed incorrectly by Dr. Mills and more surgery at this point to try to correct it would most likely have a worse outcome. This surgery was only to remove a bone chip and certainly I had full mobility prior to surgery. Honestly, I do not think Dr. Mills is knowledgeable in this field as other doctors were very surprised as to how this surgery was performed. And I remain limited in my abilities due to constant pain since the scar tissue adhered to the tendon. The worst part was that Dr. Mills did not really seem to care and took no responsibility for the result. Even the physical therapist was astonished to see the incision after surgery. I am so sorry I ever took this recommendation.

Once you get through to the doctor the experience was great. The staff was a bit difficult to get a hold of but did eventually arrange an appointment, albeit a bit later than I had hoped for. Dr. Mills performed surgery on my foot. Everything was spectacular. The doctor was knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, and has a great bedside demeanor. After healing I have had no further problems with this foot....zero pain! Absolutely my best experience with surgery and a doctor! I would highly recommend him!

doctor robert mills did an incorrect hip surgery that had to be taken out and replaced by another surgery 3 months later leaving me with lifetime pain and multable surgeries to look forward to.

HE HAS DONE SURGERY ON BOTH MY ANKLES, ALWAYS WILLING TO DO WHATEVER TO NOT HAVE TO CUT, BUT WHEN THE NEED IS THERE HE IS THE VERY BEST! ALWAYS WILLING TO LISTEN, TAKES HIM TIME WITH YOU. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO WAIT BUT IT IS WELL WORTH THE TIME. RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY. VERY UNUSUAL FOR OTHRO SURGEON TO LISTEN AND HAVE PATIENCE. I KNOW AS I WAS A NURSE!

I like this guy so much I let him cut on me 3X. Very compassionate, funny, and takes his time to explain things, and is truly interested in getting you fixed and back in the game. His staff is really nice too, (Kelly is great) something you don't always get in a hospital setting

One of the best doctors I have ever been to. Dr. Mills did everything he could to find out what was wrong with my ankle and tried everything possible prior to have to do surgery. He's not a "slice" first ortho surgeon.

Very compassionate and knowledgeable. Easy to speak with - listens to what you have to say - doesn't rush. Would recommend to anyone with a foot/ankle problem.

The best doctor...caring, understanding and skilled as a surgeon. Dr. Mills reconstructed my foot, he's amazing. The best. I've had to wait for him but I know he's giving someone else the same care and concern he's given me when I've been the one in his office; it makes waiting for him painless.
