Dr. Hunter is a very good heart doctor. He takes time with me when I have questions or problems. I have found his nurse to be very quick to call me back with my questions. I have had a very good experience at The Heart Center.

I had the most wonderful experience with Dr. Hunter and his nurse Cathy. I was so scared and nervous when I was seen because of a recent issue involving my heart. They were so caring and listened to every problem and word I had to say. I would never see any other cardiologist because he works so well with his nurse. I am healed and feel great.

I found Dr Hunter and his staff including his nurse Kathy to be helpful and very considerate. I go to church with several of his patients and we all are pleased with the care provided. Always professional and smiling. I was immediately comforted by the sincere concern of the staff and doctors. He always takes time to address any of my questions.

He is Dismissive to questions and concerns. Heart conditions are SCAREY - I guess To him its a JOB BUT forgets that to the patient it can be LIFE or DEATH -
Please DR Hunter - Slow down, take time to HEAR and Sympathize. Don't Dismiss. We are SCARED and need some counseling from our DOCTOR. The Nurse KATHY treats patients like we are all idiots. I know 5 patients, we are all treated the same. I maybe an idiot :) but the others are definitely NOT. She is Horrible to deal with if there are any questions or issues, forget talking to Dr Hunter, you have to deal with HER and she talks fast - talks OVER you and doesn't listen. The conversation is completely taken over by her, you never get your point out and she is GONE - you can FORGET ABOUT getting her back on the phone any time soon.
I doubt DR Hunter even knows half of the concerns his patients have that Kathy dismisses.
If he does, then he truly does not care. Other than these 2, the rest of the staff I have met are very nice and professional. The Heart Center in Huntsville is a good place I believe, just get the right doctor/nurse - don't forget the nurse since you truly do deal with her/him more than the Doctor.
