By far the best anesthesiologist you could ask for! She was extremely patient, kind and gentle which was much appreciated. I'm an extremely difficult stick when it comes to IVs, and she spent two hours of her time working on me before an endoscopy to get an IV in safely and correctly. Thank you Dr. Heller!

This Dr is very very good at what she does. She gave me an epidural with both my children and I have asked for her to be my anesthesiologist for this 3rd pregnancy. She is the best if you dont want pain!

Dr. Heller is a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist. She told me that she did a 7 year BA/MD program with Rutgers and UMDNJ before accepting a residency position at Columbia. She said that was also where she got her fellowship training. I found her very curteous and knowledgeable. she took great care of me in a very difficult time for me - I was having heart surgery. She and the staff at LIJ have been wonderful. I highly recommend her if you need an anesthesiologist at LIJ.
