Dr. Maguire has been my doctor for over ten years and I highly recommend him to anyone with neck and spine problems for their care. He is highly professional and knowledgeable of the spine. He diagnosed my problem quickly and the surgery relieved the pain in my shoulder, neck and arm. Truly a great doctor.

Although Dr Maguire was short on his time with me, he did a great job to correct my back problems. Its been 90 days after surgery and I am almost pain free. I would recommend him any day for surgery but not big on chit chat

My experience with Dr. Maguire was just the opposite of the last review. He listened to me and examined me then showed me my X-rays and even gave me a copy. I appreciated that he wrote the diagnosis on the X-ray. He answered all of my questions and I felt so much better when I left just knowing that i would be ok. I am completely better nowl

HE IS VERY RUDE! he will not let you ask questions and when u do he cuts u off and then tells you if you wanna go get another doctor thats fine with him! Then writes down the dianoses and tells my husband to GOOGLE IT!!! and as we was asking questions says hes not gonna argue!!!! DO NOT LIKE HIM!!!!!!

I am a nurse at Tennova hospital. I had horrible back and leg pain from spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis. . My internal medicine doctor sent me to therapy and for blocks but they only worked for a short time. She said I needed surgery. All of my friends who work in surgery recommended Dr. Maguire. They raved about his skills in surgery and his knowledge. They were right. I could not be more pleased. All my pain is gone and I am back at work.

Dr Maguire treated me for a herniated disc in my neck. I was so scared when I went to see him but he put me at ease right away. We tried therapy and blocks. I got some better but still hurt pretty bad so I had surgery. It was so easy. I went home from the hospital the same day and I have been pain free ever since. Dr. Maquire is one of the best orthopedic doctor ever. He always comes in with a smile and friendly. He is extremely intelligent and is very thorough when explaining things. Also he will answer any question you have and I don;t believe he has a rude bone in his body. .........unless you are pill popping drug seeker. Personally I believe any bad reviews are coming from someone pissed that they didn't fool Macquire into prescribing them pain bills. People come in there ever day and do this, but he can tell so hey, maybe he was alittle rude you were wasting his time....

My first appointment with Dr. James Kimbro Maguire. Will be my last.

This was the worst and most shocking doctors visit I have ever had to endure.
He was extremely curt, actually he was downright rude.

My visit with him consisted of an x-ray and 4 minutes of his time in a patient room, half of which was listening to him dictate his notes. (Of which several statements were incorrect because he had not listened to me in the 2 minutes I had to speak.
He left abruptly after dictation and I had to ask the nurse if I could speak to him again. When he returned he was extremely rude, condescending and dismissive.

What a disappointment, I thought I was going to see a doctor who would be invested in my recovery.
