Possibly the least pleasant Dr apt I’ve ever had. Was told “If I make time for you I have to cancel other appointments I’m sorry I don’t have time” I thought to myself then why did I even bother making a face-to-face appointment with you, but I chose to just nod my head and realized that I wasn’t going to get the type of doctors appointment that I was hoping to at this office by this doctor. Would not recommend.

I am in New York for 2 months and needed a doctor. I've had diabetes for 50 years two back surgeries a quadruple bypass and and riddled with arthritis and I am also on for 15 mg Oxycodone pills for pain.
I called around 4 doctors that will accept a patient that is on pain medication the office told me to come in and they would take care of me.
The two girls in the front office were great the minute I got past them the doctor told me there are seven doctors in prison and that pain medication was going to be a problem they made me feel like a common Criminal little girl at checkout told me to take tylenol while I waited 4 to 6 weeks for my medical records by the way she has no medical degree to prescribe anything to anybody. They finally prescribed my pain medication to me.
A month later I went back for a visit at this time I was having severe abdominal pain and I thought it might be my gallbladder my right side was very swollen. The doctor told me this was abnormal no kidding. He sent me for blood test and an ultrasound before leaving the office I asked to raise my pain medication because the pain was so severe he said I don't do dat. I am still in severe pain and waiting for my ultrasound this doctor does not look anybody in the eye and if you are in pain you will continue to be in pain while he goes home to his comfortable home and forgets about you that's why this doctor only has a 2-star rating on the internet and I think that is too high.
Do yourself a favor find a better doctor than I did after my ultrasound I will never return to that office again

We have known Dr. Gupta since 1995 when he became our primary doctor shortly after that.
He always has a smile for us and asks us questions about our problem. If you have tests, he will contact you after work in the evening. He has been a good doctor for us. I think he has too many patients who rely on him and he is overworked at times. However he is always there for us and we care greatly about Dr. Gupta.

Recently requested to have my records transferred to my new doctor. Gupta's office insisted on sending my records to a third party who claim to have made three attempts and charged me $33. Records never got to the new doctor due to an incorrect address provided to them by Gupta's office. My information sheet was filled out correctly, but the third party only looked at Gupta's cover sheet which had the wrong zip code and referenced to no one's attention. I called Gupta's office and begged them to fax the records to the new doctor's office. One month had passed. They refused. My insurance company got involved and got nowhere. I finally found a physician that will see me but it's several weeks away. In the meantime I'm out of Synthroid and I'm getting sicker by the day. I left a message with Gupta's nurse requesting a refill to hold me over until the appointment with the new doctor. They refused. Bottom line: they don't care about me and they don't care about you. Beware.

Incredibly rude, cold, arrogant, and dismissive. NO examination done whatsoever. When told the advice he gave had already been done and doesn't help (take ibuprofen) he said that was all he could do; very unknowledgeable if you're looking for any help beyond taking Advil. Just walked out of the appointment without saying anything, had to ask if appointment was over. Have never been treated so rudely by anyone let alone a Dr. DO NOT waste your time with this Dr. The other comments on this site are 100% accurate.

By far, worst doctor I have ever encountered. Abrupt, dismissive - cold and horrible bedside manner. Too many other good doctors in town to waste your time on this practice.

Does not help or talk to patients. It's waste of time seeing him. Doesn't listen to you It is easy to see that he don't care. He is the one of the worst I've seen.

no personality, arrogant, does not try to be helpful, does not talk or answer any questions I might have. Doen't listen to you and has not advise and walks out on you.
