I had a filling and they used a ceramic filling without explaining that insurance may not cover. When I confronted the staff on the charge they replied that it was my responsibility to know my coverages and that they couldn't possibly know all insurance coverages. I agree with that statement but when I pressed they stated that most insurances do NOT cover those fillings. They could have simply said "be aware" this may not be covered and I could have made a choice. Not very professional and obviously no longer my dentist.
