If you don't have insurance avoid this place, Dr. Galvez was not prepare to diagnostic me , my test and all studies was not ready and he stated that , I don't have noting. I been on pain and evacuating with blood and he said that is nothing!!! He is not a caring doctor. He told me the test results are not longer provided to the Physician that is the law change 5 years ago! Shame and ridiculous statement ! Professional and serious Doctor always get back the results of it request! Definitely I do not recommend Doctor Galvez. Please read his credentials. No pienses que porque eres hispano en tu misma lengua va hacer mejor.

Terrrible waiting time, it is very unrespectful to make a patient wait this long . If the Doctor by some reason cannot be punctual it is better to reschedule your patient's appointment to other time or day rather to make people wait this long. Shows that you do not care for your patient.
First appointment had to wait one hour to enter to the exam room and then 45min or more for the doctor to show up. Second appointment was just a follow up for knowing the results of my exam, no one from the office called me to let me know what was the results of my exam, I had to called after more than a week has passed after my exam .It always take many calls and voice mails for Dr.Galvez's assistant to return your call .Then after finally receiving his call only response from the assistance was "results are OK, if you want to, you can see the doctor and make an appointment for him to give you more information". So I have to pay again out of my pocket for another appointment only for the doctor to tell me results where ok , for the second visit this time at Roswell location my waiting time was 2 hours outside and after they called me forty minutes plus waiting for the doctor in the exam room. This second visit doctor seemed in a rush and gave only 10min of his time. After my 3 hours wait! no apologies for the wait and in a rush! Dr. Galvez knowledge could be good but I did not feel appreciate it at all or that he cares about my pain and concerns. Looks like I'm only a $ sign for them, maybe more important is to have more quantity of patients rather than quality of service and personal, compassionate treatment. What a pitty.

The staff at the Roswell office is terrible, rude and very poor customer and patient services. I love Doctor Galvez I am very sorry for his Roswell office personnel. Very unprofessional.

From the office visit to my colonoscopy, I was left feeling that my time had no value. I waited in the exam room for over an hour before Dr. Galvez made an appearance. He was nearly two hours late for my colonoscopy. The nurses shared that he is ALWAYS late while the other doctors are able to meet a schedule. At the end of the procedure, the doctor didn't even stick around to give me the results. He instructed the nurses to have me call them when I awakened. When we did, there was no answer nor did he call back. Sorry, but I'll be going to another GI next time.

After coming for severe pains in Sept 2012, Dr Galvez ordered a MRI, which I had done, and paid for out of my pocket. Upon leaving his office, I asked the clerical staff what my portion of payment was. She rolled her eyes and huffed at me. The nurse standing by saw it and had to apologize for her. It took 2 weeks for his nurse to call me. Of course I had a million questions to which she responded that she is not a doctor and cannot answer my questions but that I need to go in for a CAT scan (which I would have to pay for). Needless to say, I was not about to go for a CAT Scan without talking to the Doctor. It is now March 2013. I have never received a follow-up appointment. If it weren't for going to another doctor, I still wouldn't know what is wrong with me. I offered payment of $112.50. I felt it was fair for only half the visit. They wouldn't work with me at all. They offered me another appointment (which I would have to pay for).

My mother was a patient of Dr. Galvez for at least 10 years. She had a colonsocopy every 3 years, and Dr. Galvez always did a great job. I accompanied her to her appointments, and Dr. Galvez was always very patient and compassionate. He always listened to her concerns and never rushed her. Several of my mother's friends also go to Dr. Galvez, and they are very pleased with the care he provides. Now, my husband and I both go to Dr. Galvez for colonoscopies, and are very pleased with him and his staff. The only downside is that you do have to wait 30 - 45 minutes for your appointment.

I arrived approximately 10 minutes before my appointment and signed in. I noticed that the appointments were scheduled 15 minutes apart. A few minutes later the person at the desk asked me to fill out the new patient documentation. I filled it out and returned it to her and she didn't say anything so I politely asked her if she needed any other information and she gave me a rude look and said "Hold on a second" with an unpleasant tone. She then said "No, she had everything". I then sat back down and proceeded to wait 1 hour and 12 minutes passed my scheduled appointment time. When they finally did call my name, they didn't even have the courtesy to apologize for the long wait. Someone else in the waiting room actually got up and asked how much longer he was going to have to wait and then sat back down. I went in to the examination room and waited less than 10 minutes for the doctor to come in and again no apology. It made me think that this is something that they happens every day.
