The previous rating is right on! A brilliant man, but waaaay too busy. Does spend a lot of time and brain power initially, but wears down. If he had the time, and the interest in your particular symptoms, I think he could diagnose just about any illness that has a name. If you can be the squeeky wheel and be a pest, this is the doctor that can figure out the complex patient. He has tried very hard with me, but my symptoms are so complex that I still (after 5 years) don't have a diagnosis. Like to know who the previous "rater" is seeing now:)

One of the most capable doctors I've ever seen -- and, due to very rare conditions that I have, I've seen many. He was able to pull together very disparate lab tests and imaging results to build a picture (accurate) of what was going on and the probably source of an illness that I had seen over 40 specialists prior to seeing him who weren't able to provide any help at all. I highly recommend him.

YES, HE RUNS HOT AND COLD AND CAN ACTUALLY BE EMOTIONALLY ABUSIVE. EXTREMELY BRIGHT AND HELPFUL IF YOU CATCH HIM ON THE RIGHT DAY. FMS PATIENTS NEED NOT BOTHER WITH HIM AS HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN THIS SYNDROME AND MAY NOT EVEN BELIEVE FIBROMYALGIA EXISTS. THE "IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD SYNDROME"!

a very smart doctor, he helped me a lot for about six months... yet i am a difficult case (still have no clear diagnosis) and when i didn't just "get better" he listened less and less. i am now looking for a new rheumatologist who can help me to stay alive. he has no backup doctor when on call (the answer is go to the ER or deal with it). He was very hot and cold, some visits he would listen, hear me, and help me ..other times he was abraisive and curt. very very intelligent doctor if you can put up with him.
