After four appointments with Dr. Lamantia over the past year or so I will be going elsewhere. I never waited less than 45 minutes to see him, and one time waited an hour and a half. He twice took personal calls on his cell phone while he was examining me, which is very unprofessional and rude. To be clear, he quite literally continued to examine me while carrying on a conversation with someone else! And the reviews below are correct that the office clearly isn't run well. Finally, the office is currently decked out in Donald Trump paraphernalia, which is good evidence that he has poor judgment. I'm not saying this as someone who will not be voting for Trump. A waiting room simply isn't the place for doctors to advertise their political inclinations. I have no idea why he would think placing Trump bumper stickers all over the waiting room window is a good idea.

Really long wait times, completely unacceptable. Needed to get paperwork done for a medical excuse, it wasn't done 2 weeks later. Doctor appears to be knowledgeable, but the practice is very disorganized. Sometimes prescribes brand name medications that are expensive even when there are alternatives, and if you ask for an alternative, very rarely does the script get written.

Dr. Lamantia is the Very Best and I Trust him. He is highly skilled, intelligent, does extensive research, and is also caring, compassionate and has a natural kindness. He listens intently and I know he helped save my life this past year. I had another PCP who never cared and thought everything was a big joke. I was very ill when I switched to Dr. Lamantia and from the start he ordered tests and consults and today I'm alive and doing very well. Thank God for Dr. Joseph Lamantia. I wouldn't trade him for the world. I appreciate his precious time, his diagnosis, and his understanding!! He cares about me more than my family or any friend and to me that means everything. He is DOCTOR, a healer and a teacher, Thank You Dr. Lamantia!!...

was our family doctor. His staff is horribly rude. His staff would also lie in files when we called regarding reactions to medicince given. I am very ill and will be having surgery by the best gyn in this area and when I needed dr lamantia to sign off on the surgery so it would be covered by insurance his staff informed me that they would not give me medication. I very bluntly informed her that I was not asking for (bleep) medication simply needed to have the paperwork done so my surgery could happen. Was later called to inform me that this awful doctor would not sign off on my surgery because it wasnt considered an emergency. Having a tumor in my uterus that is possible cancerous should always be considered emergency. I had already found a new primary care doctor but simply wanted to have my paperwork for surgery done. But between my awesome GYN Dr Penezic and my new awesome PCP Dr Wong they have it handled and I am so grateful that I no longer have to see Dr Lamantia or have my family see him. He wasnt even able to administer my children's immunizations, so he was never a great fit. Also, I had to hear how tired he was from working 14 hour shifts on more than one occasions. I told him and will say again his schedule or being tired isn't my problem. He chose the medical field and I believe "First do no harm" isnt in this mans vocabulary. And his staff behave as if they have had no training and are incompentant.

Staff sucks never get a return call staff on cell phones. Doctor has no idea staff is pulling his business my family has switched drs n it's ashame he's a good doctor!!!

He has gotten too big too fast. Can't handle all the patients. Last time I was there he did nothing but go over notes. I knew all that.

Dr Lamantia is a great doctor. His staff is horrible. It like sorotity house when you go in. You can hear them talking about their weekend and how they partied. Also doesn't seem to have a nurse??? The girl that answers the phone needs an attitude adjustment, big time! You can never get a phone call back. But if you are lucky enough to they can't answer your questions. His office needs some work.

I've been using Dr Lamantia for over a year now. I find him to be a good and friendly doctor, although a little more rushed than I would like. My only problem is the staff; it is very, very had to get through and get an appointment scheduled or a question answered sometimes. Aside from that, he's a good doctor with a nice office and I would reccomend him to anyone in the area.

He is a great doctor but his staff act and sound like a bunch of high school girls very unprofessional. Doesn't seem to have a nurse anymore. Scary when you have to get injection from just anybody. His staff is very ignorant on the phone more interested in what they willl be doing after they get out of work. Sure miss the staff he use to have. Shame all the nice ones are gone.
