I went to Dr Nilson for a second opinion on my endometriosis. My first Ob/gyn was so black and white, bah-humbug kindof person, Dr Nilson was the ray of sunshine, positive attitude my husband and I needed. He led us through In Vitro and is absolutely the reason I have my beautiful miracle baby now. Dr Nilson helped us through such a scary time and will always be a special person to us.

Currently pregnant with my second child. I went to him with my first and became high risk towards the end. He kept me informed and always answered all of my questions while still keeping the mood light. He's a GREAT doctor. If you need a stuffy doctor he's not for you. He's a great person and my husband and I are excited to use him again for our second child.

I had been in to talk to Dr. Nilson to plan my pregnancy before I got pregnant. He was great and answered any questions. He likes to joke so I felt more comfortable because I would prefer not to have the sterile doctor type. I could tell the staff enjoyed working there because they were always smiling and genuinely seemed to love working there. Now that I am pregnant in my late 30's so we joke about that. He is great with all my appointments answering questions and just keeping me in the loop of what to expect. Great doctor and great staff!!!

If you have a healthy pregnancy and give him no problems this is the doctor for you but he is awful to the ones that want a tubal. He basically thinks you want to have a tubal so you can sleep around . My daughter went to him after having three children with the SAME GUY, he questioned her on how many baby daddies she has, one,two, three.
Very unprofessional doctor. First off it's none of his business how many baby daddies she has and you call her stupid for wanting a tubal because half his patients he sees can't have kids is an idiot doctor. It's not the patient's fault that other women cannot have kids. Ended up he said he would not do it because she was 25 and told her to come back in 5 years. My daughter-in-law says he was great with her but she is married and had 2 kids delivered by him and didn't want a tubal. This is the reason my daughter went to in to begin with because he was referred to her by my daughter-in-law. I just wish I would have been with her that day in that doctor's office because he would have had an earful from me.

If you have a perfectly healthy pregnancy with 0 questions and 0 issues then this is the doctor for you. He will also flirt with you and joke around which is great for many women. I like to joke around a lot myself but I also wanted my questions answered and to actually get a little info on how I'm doing. I never got that as he was always in a huge rush. In fact he would hurry up and leave so that I wouldn't ask him anything. He was also really ruse during the delivery which was a difficult one which he made obvious that he was annoyed by how long it took. So again if u have no questions and a perfectly healthy labor and quick delivery he will work great for u.

I went to Dr. Nilson for the first 30 weeks of my pregnancy, and thankfully have switched to a new doctor. It was not uncommon to wait over an hour to be seen, his staff never followed up with me when I accidentally missed an appointment, they gave me a bad scare on a voicemail over something that turned out to be a minor UTI, they took ages to contact me with results of tests - I usually had to call them after a week of hearing nothing to get my results, they had totally incorrect info on my chart when I switched doctors - that I had an alcohol problem and herpes, neither of which have ever been true, they put the wrong dates on my blood samples when I did my 3 hour glucose test which almost resulted in having to repeat it. Dr. Nilson himself was friendly in a frat-boy casual kind of way, but I always felt like he rushed through exams and ultrasounds, left me with unanswered questions, and on at least 2 occasions he didn't see me at all and delegated the appointments I scheduled with him to his PA.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Nilson. I spent a very heartbreaking year of fertility treatments with another dr. with no success. When I started to consult with Dr. Nilson about starting fertility treatments at Tulsa Women's Health Care, he was knowledgeable, clearly explained what the process entailed and, what's more, was very compassionate about the emotional roller coaster that is an inherent part of doing fertility treatments. With his help, I got pregnant a lot faster than my previous experience had led me to believe was possible for me. I wasn't out of the woods yet, however and suffered from severe postpartum anxiety after my baby was born. Once again, Dr. Nilson was incredibly compassionate and set up an appointment for me with a therapist for the very next day. His office even called a couple of weeks later to see how I was doing! Thanks to him, I now have a darling baby girl and am back to normal and able to be the kind of mother I want to be. He has a very pronounced sense of humor (which I like - don't most women want their ob/gyn to help them relax?), but don't let the humor fool you. When things get serious, Dr. Nilson genuinely cares about his patients and will do all within his ability to help them, and he will do it with compassion.

Dr Nilson is both personable and extremely knowledgable in his specialty. His staff is kind and, for the most part, helpful and efficient. Their facility is very nice. We really cannot complain which is a surprise because we are very particular!

Dr. Nilson is amazing, and ALL the ladies in the office are absolute Angels!!! I've been juggled in the health care system for some time and I have no idea why I haven't gone to him before now. I guess because he was/is my DIL's OBGYN and I saw him during her visits and ultrasounds during her 2 pregnancies, and I saw him as a "baby doctor"? She LOVES him and both grandkids are AWESOME!!
Although I'm a new patient, and my initial appointment was set for two weeks out, Melissa and the staff got me worked in EARLY! Dr. Nilson did an ultrasound during the same appointment, which he performed himself, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly throughout. I've been trying to get answers to my health issues for YEARS and he knocked it out in one afternoon. I didn't even have to leave the office to have blood drawn!
I'm scheduled for a complete hyst this coming Wednesday, and I know God put me in his hands for a reason, so I don't have a single fear or doubt. Literally. After having 4 children via c-section, losing 4, an abdominoplasty and an ablation, this is not my first rodeo, but it WILL be my last. Praise GOD!!

While he is a good doctor is office completely unprofessional. I have never been so disappointed with a medical office as I am with this one. They rescheduled my surgery and told me the hospital canceled the surgery. Turns out when I call the hospital they told me I was still on the schedule. Obviously someone at this doctors office messed up when scheduling my appointment and now I have to pay the price.
