Wonderful doctor. Went for A stomach problem that was thought to be an ulcer- later diagnosed as acid reflux. He is very knowledgable on medications and can explain everything in simple terms without sounding demeaning. He also has excellent doctors on his referral list for any outside needs. The staff will also take great care of you if (like me) you can't stand needles or become light headed while giving blood.

I never had a regular doctor before Dr. Nickles. I never found someone who had what I wanted and needed in a physician.....until Dr. Nickles. He has a great demeanor that puts you right at ease. He is friendly, yet concerned. He is knowledgable and listens well to all of my concerns (no matter how silly some can sound). It is hard to describe, but he just has a nice way about him. You like him instantly. He has a good rapport with his staff and they do a very thorough physical there. He doesn't question anything you feel and hears your suggestions. I have never had a problem with time and they have always been accommodating when fitting me in. A good doctor is hard to find, which is why I think many people avoid going. From a former avoider, I would highly recommend Dr. Nickles!

I've been seeing Dr. Steven Nickles for years, even after I moved further away. He is friendly, attentive, personable, respectful, and patient, which are rare qualities these days. It is a clean, pleasant office and the nurses are nice here too. My only complaint is no appointment has started on time.

I've been going to Dr. Nickles since his practice was on Main St. I arrive promptly and prepared with insurance card. Dr. Nickles and staff are friendly, engaging, and business oriented. They listen to every concern I have and offer reasonable advice and treatment options. Dr. Nickles has a great sense of humor, and puts me the patient at ease. He is always respectful and kind. There is a long wait to get a physical, so call a few months ahead to schedule your yearly exam. The office is clean, well managed, and cheerful. If Dr. Nickles wasn't my doctor, I could see him being a good friend. That's the kind of relationship he engenders. A sincere caring doctor, who listens, provides a service, and leaves you feeling good about yourself and health care provided.

Dr. Nickles is very professional and has a genuine way of showing he cares for his patients well being. I've been going to Dr. Nickles for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. I have also seen all the other doctors in this practice and would use any one of them if Dr. Nickles was not available.

Dr. Nickles is warm and attentive, but many of the office staff are unfriendly and can't get things right.

Dr. Nickles is a concerned, kind, and capable physician who knows his limitations and is not afraid to call in consultations when needed. I highly recommend him. I do believe he should be more sensitive to waiting times for his patients. I have never seen him on time -I am always waitng at least 30 minutes and Dr. Nickles should be more in tune with that.
