Dr, Nicolae was good until the procedure. During the producure he either hit my nerve with the needle or forced the cortisone in too fast. Either way the pain was extreme. He told me I should be sedated the next time. There will not be a next.

Dr Nicolae pretty much decided to not be my doctor after he did a procedure on me under anesthesia and reacted badly to the medications they gave me. HE had preformed the same procedure on me several times before. He said that my case was one of those that he didn;t know what to do next and didn't think he could help me anymore. He was rude to my family. He is ok if you are a textbook case but don't expect much if you do not fit into that category.

The only difficulty we had was finding Dr. Nicolae-in the phone book and in the hospital. He spent an amazing amount of time with my husband and me--making sure we understood the process and its possible outcomes. We were both delighted with the way that he spoke to us, and the results were exactly as he said they would be.

Buy the time of my appointment for a spinal tap, my pain had gone away as slowly as it had come on. We had a Consultation meeting to explain what to expect if it comes back and why the pain came on to begin with...my curved spine. I understood all he had to say and appreciated the education.
