The staff is a nightmare, especially ovie. Condescending passive aggressive wenches who will outright laugh at your concerns when trying to be seen asking question prepared to be belittled and trivialized by the office staff. Even on your best day this staff can destroy any patients day as if they know they can getaway with it and suffer no consequences. This type of facility makes you feel like a prison health care system as in they can treat you as poorly and disrespectfully as they like and you have no option but to take it if you want to receive any care at all with them. Do not let this be the model of health care system we support, patron a health care facility that provides both health and care to its paying patients. Someone needs to get fired or find another dr since Gohring is retiring anyway.

I have been with Dr Gohring for the entire 20+ years I've been in AK. She is by far the best OBGYN (birthing both if my childreb) in town! I hate that the awful service from the new office staff and her approaching retirement has forced me to search for a new provider. I love that lady and appreciate her tremendously

Great Dr. for years I had many female issues and no one listened to me or my many symptoms. She listened and she healed me. A kind soul, great surgeon a true healer. Who also has a sense of humor.

Dr. Gohring is wonderful! I had an extremely difficult and high risk pregnancy and she took excellent care of me. She was warm and understanding but told it like it is. easily the best gyno in Alaska, friendly kind doctor and staff, will have you laughing from the time you arrive until you leave, very thorough, listens and explains in easily understood terms, nice clean friendly office at the Alaska Womens Health Center, she is also the new Chief of Staff at Providence Hospital
