He didn't seem to care about my issue, just going through the motions. Said he doesn't call patients about testing so I had to come in for an office visit after every test, just to tell me they showed nothing. Then I had to come in again to confirm which test to have next. I asked if he couldn't just have his staff call me to tell me that, but he likened it to lawyers, who don't give free advice over the phone. Seemed more concerned about the money than helping patients. Not a good doctor, will probably retire soon anyway.

This "doctor" lied to me several times about the procedure. He said an unsedated colonoscopy was only "a little uncomfortable" over and over. His lie tricked me into a very painful experience. This man has no honor.

Only use Sam Iwata if you want to be lied to by your doctor. Terrible man. Lied about everything. After going to this "doctor," I had to have 4 very painful corrective proceedures because Iwata ignored my concerns

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. I was stunned when I smelled alcohol on his breath just before the procedure. He was obviously buzzed and thought that a few mints would cover up the smell of the alcohol. After two days of prepping, I walked out and demanded my money back. The secretaries and office manager tried to argue with me about it, but when I loudly mentioned the alcohol smell on Sam Iwata, they quickly capitulated. Obviously this has happened before.

This "Doctor" is a bad man. He lied to me about multiple aspects of my procedure. He was rude and dismissive. Do not go to GACS. They are unorganized and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Don't trust this guy. He is either a liar or stupid, and I don't think he is stupid. He seems to think an unsedated colonoscopy is "just a little uncomfortable" which is just wrong. It's painful. Not broken bone painful, but way past "a little uncomfortable."

I have phoned his office 3 times requesting an appointment and have received one return call during which I was told to hold and after 3 to 4 minutes, was disconnected. A follow up call to their office has never been returned Obviously they are not interested in keeping me as a patient. Going to someone else for a follow-up exam.

I have been going to DR Iwata for 13-15 years. I have always been satisfied with and have never experienced a problem.
