Awesome doc. Spent 40 minutes talking about my lifelong problems with breathing, snoring, headaches, and complex sinnus issues. He did not give me a weird vibe like another reviewer claims. He is a straight shooter, upstanding doctor that helped me heal after looking for relief for decades.

PLEASE CHECk BEFOREN GOING TO DR KLAUSNER. I went to him in November 2011 for snoring which was related to whatever he claimed. He ended up telling me that I had a deviated eptum and needed to surgery to straight men it out which would cure the snoring issue. Well I had the surgery , and I bled from friday until the later part of following week from my nose. It was horrible, my follow up visit was even worse pain. I enedednup, I had multiple follow up visits and nothing ever changed with my healing, I lost my sense of smell and taste as well . 8 months later I had to get refer all to a specialist at UCLA at found out that from looking at CT scan from Dr Klausner I never needed any surgey for deviated septum or sinuses and as well that he had for no reason at all cleaned out my sinuses as well which was not needed and that was never even told to me by Dr Klausner that he did it. Well today is July 28th 2015 and I am still having major problems with my sinuses which I never ever had a problem with. Dr Klausner has given me a life long nasel problem that from day one was not needed nor necessary! BE AWARE

This was a very strange experience, or should i say he was very overbearing doctor... i went to him for vertigo, but he proceeded to tell me about my tmj problems, my sleeping problems and a multitude of other aliments, he was very UNPROFESSIONAL. He then started to say very unusual statements, and i knew he was just trying to sell as much as he could get away with, to the unsuspecting person this could present a problem and serious damage to there person. I did get the hearing test at his office, it was by another doctor and he was very good and professional. Dr. Klausner did not and could not solve my issue and i would never make a return visit... if you are reading this comment, please know i was in the dental profession for years and he is not treating tmj problems properly, he is a complete fake... Dr. Klausner, please shave, take a bath, and put on clean clothes, as there is a serious problem with your hygiene, and while you are at it, clean up your professional attitude, stop caring about selling products and procedures and treat the person and listen carefully, as you are a hindrance to people.

I had a very similar experience to the other commenters. I went to see Dr. Klausner for sinus issues and he became fixated on my "jaw clenching" habit. He was very rude, ran many strange tests, which after I have read the other commenters, I now feel were unnecessary. I couldn't get a straight answer from him about his findings and my diagnosis. In fact, when I returned for a follow up visit after having a CT scan of my sinuses done as well as a thyroid scan (which he had zero interest in talking about even though the results showed abnormalities) he thrust the results into my lap told me to read them and that he would be back. After waiting for nearly an hour I asked the nurse how much longer it would be, and told her if it was going to be much longer i would have to feed the parking meter. At that the doctor came in and was ruder than ever, and when I began asking questions (because he was fixated on my "jaw clenching" and teaching me to "be nice to my jaw" and I was there for sinus issues) he became extremely rude! So rude in fact, that I did something I have never done, I rose out of my seat, said "I am done here." and left him mid-rude-sentence. A terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this doctor.

Terrible doctor, would never return. I visited him to simply have my ears cleaned, I had a bad wax build up that the GP could not handle. He kept trying to sell me other procedures, specifically he said there was something wrong with my nose and wanted to stick a scope down it. I declined as there didn't seem to be anything wrong with my nose. He also fixated on trying to help me stop grinding my teeth. In the end, after two visits, he was unable to help me. The part that irritated me the worst was that he had planned to use his special ear vacuum on my ears, then when I told him I didn't want any other procedures (like the nose scope) he told me he didn't have time to use the vacuum on my ears and I'd have to come back for a 3rd appointment. After questioning this he started to tell me how he was insulted I didn't want his other services and that he wasn't making any money off of me. This is probably the most unpleasant experience I have ever had with a doctor.

I had a similar very bad experience as other reviewers. I went to him due to a PET scan that showed activity in my cheek/jaw. I'm in my mid 40's so a cancer scare isn't a fun experience. I brought my PET scan with me on CD which he never even took out of the sleeve saying it would take too long and he would look at it later. He instead proceeded to tell me how fat I was and I needed to do something about that. I told him I do have sleep apnea, so he wanted to scope my nasal cavity and throat, which he did with equipment that looked older then I was, for which he charged my ins for 2 surgical procedures for over $3000 and never followed up on the PET scan. He was very creepy and his breath was hard to take. I would NEVER recommend going to this guy. I got 0 out of my visit. On top of that he turned me over to collections AFTER I had paid and I had to prove via cancelled check to the collection agency that I had indeed paid in full.

Guy is a complete crook. I went in with a Nose infection and told him I knew it was a MRSA infection because I saw a doctor a month before and he tested it for Staph. With this information sheldon patronized me and tried to confuse me. He then told me that I was not aware of my surroundings enough and that I clenched my jaw too much. He then X-rayed my sinuses which had nothing to do with my nose infection and made the appointment all about how I have bad allergies and that I need to do more yoga. I am all for yoga and living a healthy life style, but if a patient comes in with a known issue and he does nothing to treat it or even acknowledges it then that is not a good doctor. I am very upset that this doctor is the #1 reccomended on Zoc Doc for the Santa MOnica area and something needs to be done. I have already called Zoc Doc and The hospital about this issue.

If you are looking for a doctor who will bleed you dry then look no further and make an appointment with the very creepy and idiotic Dr. Sheldon "Blood-sucker" Klausner. I went for simple ear wax removal and instead he started doing unnecessary tests of my throat and nose. I was subjected to the worst breath I ever smelled when he leaned in and examined me. I was told the office visit was only $40 dollars for new patients and ear wax removal would be around fifty dollars but when I got the bill this gold digger charged my insurance over $3000! I'm looking into the medical board to see what they can do to stop this money grubbing hack! Physicians are supposed to be caring not vultures. Stay away from this con man!
