I had a carcinoid tumor in my lung and have had to have most of my right lung removed and dr loube is my doc he is perfect. I went to medical school too so i know a bit about medicine too. If my dr said I need something he kindly explains why what we will do in the future, what it means for my health, the previous guy needs to know there are other insurance companies and their goal is not to take risks it costs them money, duh, Dr loube does what is medically necessary, know what is good for you and you won't have a problem, obvously if you see a pulmonologist you HAVE TROUBLE BREATHING, or someone thinks you do, get a life...Dr Loube is the best and most knowledgeable dr I have right up there with my oncologist.. If u read this Dr. Thanks, I owe you my life!!!

I went to see Dr. Loube with some questions and he wrote me up a prescription for a sleep study that I absolutely DID NOT ask for and told him I did not want to do. Four months later my wife and I were trying to get life insurance and when they pulled my medical history they told me my records were missing a sleep study. When I went back to Dr. Loube he told me that he felt it was medically necessary and would not rescind the order. So basically he "prescribed" me a sleep study that I never asked for or wanted, and would not take it back, thus forcing me to do a sleep study against my will if I wanted to get the insurance. All because I went and asked him a few questions. The moral of the story I've learned is this: Don't ask your doctor any questions unless you're totally sure that you're willing to follow through with his exact recommendations, because these doctors seem to have a lot more control over your life than you would expect.
