I called on a thursday to get an urgent appointment and the soonest they could get me was the following tuesday. Although, I showed up on time, I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes. When I checked in with the receptionist, I was told their was "a problem in the back" and I was in for a long wait, at least 30 more minutes - or I could reschedule for Thursday (7 days after my original call)! I asked if there was anyway I could be seen any sooner and I was told no. I left and called the nurse and explained that I needed to be seen urgently and she didn't even bother calling me back. The next day I called the office manager, and after holding for 15 minutes, I was told to leave another voicemail. I'm currently in the process of finding a new doctor. One who has appointments availabe and keeps them!

Dr. Pankow actually takes the time to listen and explain things to you, is personable and knowledgeable. Fabulous bedside manner. Unfortunately she doesn't work a full-time schedule.

Every time I visit Dr. Pankow, she is always friendly and open to hearing your thoughts. Once when I went to see her I was fairly sick and she and her staff followed up with me at home a few days later to see how I was doing. I was very touched by that level of service.

She is a extremely nice physician who will answer all of your questions and spend the time needed with you. The only thing I would like to see change is that she call me back directly with my results rather than her assistant. Her assistant though is extremely nice and does return your calls very quickly. They are also very quick about getting any refills needed for anything. Overall the people in the office are very polite and kind. I have always felt like they have been honest and provided care at least to the best of their abilities.

I don't think you can find a nicer doctor out there! Dr. Pankow is very thorough and caring. She will take extra time with you when you need it.
