I had triple bypass surgery in 2002 at Lutheran Hospital, Dr Brantz was the surgeon. He was very kind and made sure I understood everything they were going to do. I remember because, I was very nervous about the surgery, because my dad had a quadruple in 81 and didn't make it. He assured me that the medical field has come along way, and I was going to do well. He was right. It was ten years May 10 2012! I also remember all my girlfriends thought he was good lookin' and he is! Nscanland, WheatRidge CO

Dr. Brants was called in by Lutheran ER personnel to consult on my case and I've had several follow-up visits with him. I believe he and Lutheran saved my life in the ER from an aortic dissection. I certainly received better care than John Ritter did!

Dr. Brants was amazing. He really knows what he is doing when it comes to valve replacements. My mother received a double valve replacement and recovered very quickly from the surgery. Unfortunately, shortly after the surgery she was told that she has pancreatic cancer and will only live a few more months. But, her heart is doing great.
