Dr. Heyman has always been there for me! I suffer with chronic lower back pain. He has come the closest to getting me a decent , tolerable level of pain. He’s one of the best, I think!

I have been with Dr. Heyman for the past 4 years, he has helped me get through some really bad times with my back, still working on fine tuning! He is compassionate, caring, listens!

I have been seeing Dr Heyman for the last 4 years. Because of his treatments and referrals I was able to keep working as an echocardiographer till June of 2010. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable.

Are some of you above "reviewers" kidding me?! I have had a chronic back injury for 7 yrs, and he is the only physician that has made any headway! He is compassionate, caring, listens!, and really knows me (how is work, life, family) etc etc! Many doctors never make any effort to get to really KNOW the patient- this is not one of them. He has made such a difference in the severity of my pain and immobility. I would recommend him to everyone including friends and family.

This is the most arrogant and uncaring person I have ever met in my life. He was incrediably unprofessional, rude and did not act as if he cared of my situation. I would not let this Doctor take my blood let alone put a needle in my lower back to try to help my condition.

Every appointment for 9 months I filled out a questionnaire asking me to rate my pain and activity, as well as whether the doctor's treatments had any impact. The doctor's treatments never had any impact and I rated them as such. Obviously no one paid attention to the surveys. I never received any advice unless I asked for it. Nothing got better, which I don't blame on the doc. However, couldn't he have referred me to some other doctor? Was I supposed to just mask the pain with opiates for the rest of my life?
