Unprofessional. Was told to lose weight 10 times during a 10-minute consultation without any explanation or scientific basis. Was also told to do intensive workouts 3-4 times a week despite me trying to explain that I have a different lifestyle and I am active in other ways. Was prescribed tests that are not related to my health condition. Doctor did not want to study previous history, blood tests, any other health issues and rushed the consultation like he had a train to catch, speaking incomprehensibly. Waste of my money and nerves since I paid to be fat-shamed (and my weight is completely normal and I am ok with it, so why do I need to defend this?). In the end was just told to keep doing what I am doing, continue to take the same medication and doses like I did not know that already. Completely insensitive, considering that women struggle with body image throughout their whole lives and being fat-shamed by a doctor is a whole different thing.

Dr Nafach is fantastic' He moves fast because of the knowledge base he has! I HAVE WORKED FOR MANY MD's and can honestly say this is the norm-not the exception! People need to take responsibility for your own health: you always have the final decision with regards to treatment. The days of sitting down and visiting for 30 minutes are long gone- If that is whet you want you're going to have to find a small home town Doc- with much less training-He's a specialist and as such will treat you ACCORDINGLY! He isn't going to hold your hand or sugar coat things- nor should he be expected to! I have found him to be very professional and helpful with Hoshimoto issues while most general practitioners will check a TSH and dismiss you as being a nut! He knew immediately what the problem was and I'm feeling better because of him!

Dr Nafach is one of the best doctor's I have ever been to. I have been treated by my GP for T2Diabetes for years, but it kept getting worse. Weight was also an issue, and always has been. Since I have started seeing Dr. Nafach he has totaly changed my treatment and started me on a new injection called Bydureon. I take it once a week and now I am no longer taking insulin and my A1C is 6.8!!! This isn't even the best part! I have lost 38 lbs because of this new drug. When I told my GP about it he said he doesn't mess with injections and didn't know much about bydureon. I am telling you all, Dr. Nafach is amazing. He can be kind of quick with you, and he does NOT beat around the bush. he calls it like he see's it and I like that but I can see how some would not like this. Long story short, go see him if your GP is like mine and just wants you to "watch what you eat and exercise" and somehow T2Diabetes will suddenly dissapear.

Dr. Nafach is extremely knowlegeable. He is a straight shooter and tells you like it it. No fluff. I am in the medical profession and found him to be very direct and straightforward. I will continue to see him as my endocrinologist. He has helped me more in the las 7 weeks that the doctors I had treating me in the last 19 years!

I was referred to Dr. nafach from my regular doctor. I was told I had hyperthyroid issues. I had expressed my concerns about not wanting this issue fixed because I did not want the weight gain. My concerns seemed to not register & his nurses said there mas only a small percentage that weight gain happens to. Since they radiated my throid, weight gain is a serious issue & I am seriously considering hiring a lawyer. I gained 20 lbs in 10days. I have never been near 200lbs before. These doctors think they can do as they please. My doctor was not much more help Dr.nafach & his staff. I would not recommend him. The medicines he gave made me very ill & yet he pushed them anyway. Its too late for me. This doctor fixed an issue that truely made my life worse not better. Sometimes leaving well enough alone is the best medicine of all. The fact that I voiced this concern many times before being treated by Dr nafach makes this even worse. I am shocked other drs even give him referals.

I found the doctor to be very friendly and with a great sense of humor. Perhaps folks take him wrong.

After reading through the posted comments, I feel the need to post my own. I'm in the clinical research arena and would consider myself fairly knoweledgable and current on new therapies. I have found Dr Nafach to be very good, knowledgable, and current on the latest therapies. All of which I love! Unfortunately, his directness, bluntness, and quick wit can be preceived by others as rude, arrogant, berating. This is unfortunate, Dr Nafach is a no-holds-barr type of physician, he will not tell you what you think you want/need to hear, but is honest in his approach regardless of what you want to hear. The truth hurt sometimes, but at the end of the day it will make you reassess and better yourself. Because he keeps up on the latest research, he was able to understand and assess my condition quickly and has been able to provide me with alternatives that no other physicians have attempted. I am grateful for his care and concern, and most importantly his directness.

Very rude and as one of the other comments berated me and was very discourteous. Also seemed to have different staff each time I had an appointment. I think each time I was there some of his relatives were in the back using the office equipment. Weird!

He is from another country and not casualy American. He does listen carefully. He is fast because he just moves fast, but he is a very good doctor and was the only one to diagnose and help me with adrenal fatique. I really appreciate what he has done form me and I trust him. He's a good doctor.
