(HealthNet Insurance) Very nice, takes great notes not only on health but also on discussions, so is able to make you feel at ease by asking you about work, where you grew up, whatever came up the last time. She takes the time to get to know YOU, even if for that brief moment. I also have some anxiety issues and she was very understanding and patient - and even had some great tips for getting through an uncomfortable exam. Had a little trouble with scheduling and messages with her staff, but nothing that ruined my life - only made me miss a 1/2 day of work for no reason, but she offered to refund copay and apologized profusely for the mistake.

Heather Doherty MD is the bomb. She's young, but smart, sharp, sensitive and sincere. Best of all, she treats me like a person - not just a patient. Being seriously sick sucks. But seeing a physician like her really does make the most jagged pill easier to swallow. Her ego isn't in the game. Her heart certainly is. When most MDs won't even look you in the eye or acknowledge anything about you except the disease you have - that is refreshing. My only complaint? She works part-time. I'll take it.

She is good but watch out for the referrals she gives. They are inexperienced or terrible. I think she must get a kickback to recommend them.
