My son was diagnosed with lymphoma by this horrible man Dr Goy. He was scheduled to start chemo in a week, and hit my forehead with a pencil and said “and you don’t do any research”. With COVID raging I was desperate to get him a second opinion. We were lucky enough to get one with Sloane Kettering. He ended up NOT having cancer at ALL. He would have ruined his life. Please take my advice and get a second opinion. No one should trust him with their life. I still deal with PTSD because of this experience.

I had great hope when I chose to see Dr. Goy. And after 3 visits I am sad to acknowledge the great disappointment. He comes in with a laptop, he looks at it and asks two questions, how do you feel and then he asked me whether I still had night sweat (which I never had). He told me to get undressed and left the room. It took me 50 seconds to do it, it took him 25 minutes to come back. Checked me for about 1 minute and told me to get dressed and left again. It took me 90 seconds to do so, it took him 32 minutes to come back. Then he came told he was ordering blood tests and left me with the assistant. The second and third visits were of the same type. He seems to think that patients are walking pieces of meat with cancer in it, instead of seeing human beings. He may think he is the guru of cancer, and if true may be he should teach and do research, but HE SHOULD NOT SEE PATIENTS. He is too arrogant, does not explain absolutely anything, and leaves the room suddenly and you may think he is coming back but he doesn't. He runs from room to room and sees each patients for a few minutes. That is not a practice of medicine, it is a money making machine. It is really shameful (to say the least) that the hospital which to my surprise is extremely well organized, very efficient and the patient portal is excellent, allows this type of physicians to practice medicine as if we were guinea pigs. VERY SAD !!!!

Dr. Goy has zero bedside manner. I went to him a few years ago when I had Hodgkin's lymphoma. He spent very little time with me and when he did was impatient, rude and hard to understand with his thick accent. I felt like they were "selling" me the hospital and services and pushing me to go there. The day after Christmas at 8am. Dr. Goy performed a bone marrow test on me. He yelled at me for wining as the massive needle plunged like a cork screu into my bone. Complete a-hole. My back is still messed up to this day. He must have hit a nerve during bone marrow. Ultimately I went to dr. Grossman at st Barnabus and he was amazing and spent a lot of time with me. Dr. Goy should stay clinical and stop treating patients.

I went to Dr. Goy for a second opinion after my original lymphoma diagnosis 10 years ago. He was so knowledgeable and positive that I immediately opted to have him treat me. Over the years I have always felt confident that I was getting the best of care from Dr. Goy and his staff. I have also found that wait times have been reduced significantly since the office a couple of years ago.

Dr Goy is worth the wait. He saved my life. At the age of 41 I was diagnosed with Stage IV NH Lymphoma with bone marrow involvement. My local oncologist was not hopeful. I saw Dr Goy and he told he that we would be aggressive and that it would not be easy but he could treat me. I started R-CHOP that very day. The nurses in the infusion suite are the best. Three years later I am cancer free and healthier than ever. I owe it all to Dr Goy and his first rate staff.

Dr. Goy lied to my family by insisting my sister was going to be OK and he was going to save her. He never visited her in the hospital while under his care and treatment, and she died. While in intensive care, intebated and dying, he insisted she get another treatment. That was just for him to make more money. Please DO NOT go to this doctor!!!
