My experiences over the past 12 years have been excellent. Dr Rutledge has a great bedside manner and is very informative about foot conditions. His staff is always cheerful and helpful.

Routine regular clipping of ingrown toenail gone wrong (got infected for the first time ever!), but still charged again for second appointment to put it right by his "partner" (but with a separate "account") because Dr R was unavailable for an immediate appointment. Wrote a letter of complaint asking for a refund of the second appointment, but no answer so far. My appointment with Dr R was for 45 minutes, but first 15 minutes spent with staff filling in my new patient form online, even though I had already done so in advance. Half an hour actually spent with Dr R was charged at $100. My second appointment to "fix" it was 15 minutes charged at $75. I believe I am owed $75. Staff not very friendly or respectful. Will not be returning even if I am refunded, and do not recommend the Indian River Podiatry team.

Very thorough exam. I was brought back to exam area on time and promptly seen. I have been to 3 other foot specialists in town and he was the only one to thoroughly explain my condition and offer several treatment options. Very happy with the care I received and I would highly recommend Dr. Rutledge

Yes, always running behind schedule. Also ripped off my gauze and the bleeding continued, with disregard to my sutures. My foot is disfigured. I am angry that I trusted this doctor. The money that was decided up front was different rom what the FINAL bill was. Run...fast...while you can.

Always Running behind schedule and not by minutes, by hours. I have never seen him wash his hands and he has touched my infected wound with no gloves on. Perhaps thats why all the patients in the lobby had infections?

. I was impressed that Dr. Rutledge took the time to explain the conditions to me in a way that I was able to understand. From my previous experiences with other Physicians, I have sometimes left more confused that when I arrived. I respect the fact that he explained all of the different treatment options before giving his recommendations. He then let me choose the treatment option I wanted. Each visit, he was able to immediately identify my issues and resolve them with various treatments. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. Rutledge and his staff and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.
