Dr. Stageman always makes you a vital part of your own health plan. One time, I was pretty sick, had labs done after five in the afternoon on a Friday and did not expect to hear anything for several days and had quietly resigned myself to a rotten weekend. By the time I got home, twenty minutes later, he was on the phone to me. He had enough preliminary lab results to order a prescription from my pharmacy and had OTC suggestions too. What's more, he personally followed up later the next week. Obviously, a busy doctor can't always do this, but the fact that he cared enough to do this when he was worried about me (and that he was the kind of doctor who WOULD worry about a patient) made me decide he was by far the best family physician I have ever had.

Dr. Stageman is very competent, attentive and pleasant. He is focused on the patient and has great listening skills.

Dr. Stageman always takes the time to sit down and talk to you so he can better assess your medical status. He never makes you feel as though he is in a hurry and he is proactive about ordering tests.
