Dr. Boykin was my primary care physician for over 5 years. My annual request for PSA testing was repeatedly ignored. I now find myself frustrated, castrated, with zero libido and just a little bit pissed off. Details: I was Dr. Boykin's patient from August of 01 until 11-27-06, when he informed me that the PSA test taken in August of 05 was the only PSA test he prescribed - THE ONLY ONE SINCE I BECAME HIS PATIENT IN 01. Shortly therafter, I terminated his services. My father died in '94 from prostate cancer as stated in his autopsy report from the VA hospital in Miami, Fl. The blood work done in Aug of 05 showed a PSA of 40.9. Six months later on 2-23-06 I was notified of this test. The subsequent PSA test taken by the ueologist was 58. the results of a biopsy was 9 on the Gleason Scale - "innoperable." A second opionion confirmed this I recieved hormone injections every 3 months until Iwas castratrd on April 30-07. james P. Ferguson Fort Pierce, Fl 34947
