Dr. Mc Avoy is an excellent OB-GYN provider. He has a great bed-side manner an takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. He strives to provide as minimally -invasive a surgery as possible and has excellent surgical skills. I would highly recommend Dr. Mc Avoy!

I have been going to see Dr. Mc Avoy since 2011. He was my ob when I was pregnant with my son. I found out March 1st, 2012 that I lost my son. He looked like he was going to cry when he had to tell me. He was great and so was the staff. I got pregnant again and went back there. They all remembered my name when I went in and it was over a year later. They are the best.

HE IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR. I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. I HAD A VERY BAD INFECTION. HE GOT ME IN THAT DAY, AND ORDERED ME PRESCRIPTIONS THAT CLEARED IT UP VERY FAST. HE'S A VERY NICE AND DOWN TO EARTH GUY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS DOCTOR.

Misdiagnosis of ovarian cancer. Patient appeared at his office in July with ultrasound showing dark spot on left ovary. Doctor did exam and said its not cancer, come back in 3 months for another ultrasound. At that time, doctor said spot might be smaller so have another ultrasound in 3 more months. Patient visited general practitioner in December with abdominal pain, bloating and a bowel obstruction problem (bowel problem had been happening since summer when she first visited Dr. McAvoy). She was hospitalized and diagnosed with a tumor that had progressed beyond the uterus to chest hollow and small intestine and is rated as Stage IV ovarian cancer. Please ladies, if you care about your health do not trust this doctor.
