In my opinion Dr. Santilli should retire. Her office is full on man haters it's not even funny. I think she is a complete quack.

Although I believe Dr. Santilli is knowledgeable, I also believe she's over the top....with everything! My son is currently a healthy 2 year old boy, but I've been to 7 specialist over these past two years! Every visit leads to something she's "uncomfortable" with. He's had early intervention, been to a neurologist, nephrologist, gastro dr and pediatric dermatologist and endocrinologist. I don't want to ignore a problem if there is one, but I also don't want to create one if there isn't one! I always left her office with a lump in my throat and calling another specialist. I've since switched to Gabriel Pediatrics and for the first time in 2 years, I went to a dr, got a checkup, and walked up with a follow up appointment for 3 months later. Like I said earlier, I'm not trying to mask any issues, but the bottom line is I have a perfectly healthy boy. Thank God!

Dr. Santilli is very knowledgable and takes her time with the patiences. She is great with my child and she came highly recommended from lots of new parents when we were looking for a pediatrician. The other two doctors in her practice are great as well. It can be slightly slow some days, but you can never tell when kids will be sick, most of the time I have been able to see her within my appointment time. The nurses and staff are all very sweet.

I have been a patient of this nutjob for too long. Her staff ignores you after you stand there for 15 minutes. I had a staph infection that she thought was just a rash, crohns disease which she thought was my kidneys failing, told me I was blind and deaf when my vision is 20/20 and can hear perfectly fine. My brother had pneumonia and she said it was just a cold, he was also blind and deaf according to her standards. This lady has no idea what she is talking about, avoid her if you really love your child. Oh, and forget about trying to get your medical records from her she says its going to take about a month. I work for a pediatric office and it takes me 15 minutes to get a patients records together. Dr. Santilli and her staff with prostitute makeup are the WORST pediatric office ever!

Dr. Santilli was my pediatrician as a kid, for a bit, anyway, though I didn't really remember her all that well. What I do remember is the horrible care she and her staff gave my son some twenty years later. Due to their repeated screw ups and misdiagnosises (sp?), my two year old ended up in PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at Maimonides for five days with pneumonia, which could have been prevented, had Santilli done her damn job. But no. It took nearly a week of DAILY trips to her office, with a fever of over 102 which WOULDN'T break, and injections of antibiotics that weren't helping, for her to say "Gee, I guess this isn't a cold like I thought". The minute the tech saw the chest x-ray, he told me to get my son to the ER. He didn't even wait for Santilli's approval. Don't trust your kids to that woman. She lost her touch years ago.

Dr. Santilli used to be my doctor and now she is my child's doctor! She is amazing and extremely knowledgable and I always leave feeling comfortable and confident with her advise. She truly cares and loves the children. Even though she has been practicing for many years she still stays current with all new trends. There is nothing you can say that surprises her and she remembers everything about every visit (impressive given her patient load). I remember loving to see her as a child and I am so happy my son does too. Also, all other doctors in her office are just as smart and I am comfortable even if she is not available. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Only negative - office does need some updating - sorry : (

dr. office needs updating. The wait for the dr. is extremely long, over 1 hr at times. She is always overbooked. She is knowledgeable and explains things slowly and writes down directions however, she doesnt really warm to the children. She rarely converses with them.
